This is such a cute little toy. I saw other reviews about the size. I like that it's not huge--it really is about the zip you'd expect from a baby xylophone BUT it has activities on 5 sides of the cube. It keeps my baby busy baby entertained, he knows to flip it to something else when he's wanting a change. You do really need to follow the manufacturer guidelines and take the small pieces away while your little one is tempted to put everything in their mouth, these are definitely a choking risk. I think this is going to grow well with my child. He loves it now at 1 and as he gets older I will give him access to all the magnetic pieces and I suspect he'll fall in love with that too.

I bought it for my 1 year old nephew. He loves it. It's an interactive toy where the mother can learn to teach their child. It's a bit too sophisticated for a 1 year old but still good for them to have. Beware of them putting the little pieces in their mouths and you should be good to go. (don't let them use the fishing pieces until they can understand it's not edible.)

It looks big in the pictures, but it's much smaller than I thought. Pictures are deceiving! The description says for ages 1,2,3,and 4. The package says NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 due to small parts. I bought this for an 18 month old so it's disappointing. I guess for now he can play with the small metalophone. I also thought Montessori had it's own brand, not realizing it's a Montessori school type of toy. It's cheaply made.
