    Wow, this little furnace really gets the job done! I like the base, it is very stable. I like the size, not too big or small. The price point is excellent compared to electric ones and this one is so much hotter! Great buy for home use or smelting smaller projects. Highly recommended!

      • Watch the videos on YouTube about DIY smelting. You'll be fine.
    The media could not be loaded. This is a great kit. Everything you need, besides gloves, face shield and crucible tongs. Buy gloves and a face shield, make some tongs and you're good to go. Definitely watch some YouTube videos about DIY Smelting first, just so you can see how the timing goes. Oh yeah, don't be like me, wear good protective footwear at all times when playing around with molten metal. ... show more

    I bought this little melter a couple of weeks ago and have used it 4 times to melt Aluminum, Brass and Copper. I am fully satisfied with the way it works and its simple design.
