The only reason why I'm not giving this 5 stars is because it doesn't have a remote. I ordered these lights thinking they have a remote because of some of the pics in the ad. Only the battery operated lights have remotes. THESE LIGHTS DO NOT HAVE A REMOTE. Other than the remote issue, these lights are nice. I like that there is a long length of cord between the plug and where the lights begin. That prevents you from seeing a trail of lights up to the point where you actually want lights to be seen. There is no dimming or brightening feature. The lights only have 1 brightness setting. And I don't like any of the blinking features. They are too fast/stark. Unless you're decorating a rave, I'm not sure why anyone would use them. But the steady on feature is good and the slow dim to glow feature isn't as obnoxious as the flashing. I could see those settings on a holiday tree or something. The warm white is nice--not too yellow or white. The wires are decent quality. The way it comes wrapped keeps the wire from being tangled or kinked as you put the lights up, which makes them easy to use. And I like that it's a plug-in light and doesn't need batteries. ... show more

Lights make the room look so magical. There are different settings, the light can stay on continuously or flash. I bought the lights with a plug in power source so I wouldn't have to worry about changing out batteries. You can change the flashing of the lights by pressing on a button by the plug in. Love them! They are beautiful and I needed long string! The problem I had was, I have them in a timer and they kept turning off before my timer, that's where reading instructions comes in. The green light that shows up on it is actually their timer if you hold that button down the green light goes away and they stay on. Mine are connected to a timer so they turn on and off at the appropriate time rather than just randomly. I will give them a zero for instructions very very minimal and really, really tiny. The lights themselves are perfect: nice dainty looking fairy lights, choices of steady or different speeds of two going, and it is plenty long. I just a touch of added color to my white lights around the tree and the spacing of the LED lights are perfect. I knocked off one star because I ordered pink lights. Before I unraveled the whole 66ft, I plugged it in to make sure it works and was happy to see pink lights staring back at me. But once it was on the tree and plugged in, the lights were more purplish than pink. I thought maybe once all my pink and sparkly ornaments were hung, it will reflect back to pink. NOPE. My tree which is full of pink ornaments have a smattering of purple lights highlighting it instead of pink. Other than that, the lights work perfectly and pretty looking, especially if you like purple. But my search for pink lights continue. ... show more
