I got this so that my husband could put it in under the sink in our garage! We have a detached garage and it is right by my vegetable garden so I wanted to be able to have hot water when I rinse off my vegetables! This was super easy for my husband to set up and literally took him no time. He is very familiar with doing quite a bit of different Plumbing work so he was easily able to get this set up and ready to use in little time! If you are not familiar we definitely recommend hiring a plumber to come in and take care of it for you. Once it's all hooked up it is 100% good to go! The hot water seems endless from this! Everything works immediately as it should and was super easy to use. It literally could just stay down there and do its thing. Very durable and very well made! Super nice! Definitely does everything that it is supposed to do and super easy to operate! It is worth every penny for sure and has made life so much easier for me while I'm doing my gardening! So I could not be happier. Definitely got to give this a solid 10/10 ... show more

Context: I wanted a space-saving instahot for a spot in my house where there isn't much room. This product lists pretentiously as a tankless water heater, which I suppose technically it is, but it's an instahot. Regardless of what they call it, it's what I needed, so I gave it a try. It's small, but it's accurate to the listing. It isn't meant to provide water to an entire home full of people. It will provide water to a kitchen sink, probably a double vanity in a master bath, something like that. It says endless hot water, but not on a half-inch line. This will not do a shower. I felt the need to take off one star for mis-marketing it to make people think this will do something it will not. However, what it is actually made for and what it's actually meant to do, it does well. It's a very nice unit. It's perfect for a bathroom sink or a kitchen sink. You can set the water temperature, and it has some nice (and standard) instahot safety features on it to keep from burning it out. It needs 220V and it needs its own dedicated circuit. The controls are simple, and once it's safely installed, it should be easy to use and last for a while. Whether you'll see an energy savings depends on way too many factors of your hot water usage and where you put this product, but it does heat on demand and typical of instahots, does not have a tank to keep reheating over and over. There is theoretically a cost savings possible. If your expectations and needs are in line with what this product actually does, then I have no problem recommending. I was able to use this electric on demand heater to replace our old propane heater in our hunting cabin. it is hot enough for a shower with a slight drop in water pressure. Not a heater I would want for general use in a typical home but, it does get hot enough for a good shower if you don't mind a little less water pressure. Perfect for cabins and RVs for sure. In my case, installation was very easy as I had a 240 outlet nearby and only had to re-bend he copper tube from our old heater a bit.
