didn't like all of the waiting for it to load up. after it did load up things seem a little hard to understand when I don't work with software that much. Much of the laptops have or did have OS loaded up this may cause some confusion in re installing the OS for this flash drive.

I am still running windows 7 with a born date of 2014 and OUT OF THE BLUE the PC started giving me a ERROR NO BOOT DISK Found. I did go into the diagnostics and saw there was a readable hard drive and ran the tests and the PC passed them all. I looked into this USB and hoped for the best. Went into the diagnostics and changed the boot drive to USB and it starts just a wee bit slower but it powers up. * * * UPDATE * * * 04/26/24 - I have left this USB in the usb port. I have been turning the PC off every night and rebooting the following day. A WEE bit slow in the start up but there is a start up and everything is accessible. I, of course, have transferred important files to a 1TB SSD should the unit flash an ERROR NO BOOT DISK FOUND and there would be no additional booting up using this USB. ... show more

I booted into safe mode not knowing that I needed a password I had set up years ago for the admin account. Since I had been using my pin to sign in for the past few years I had forgotten the password. Thought I was going to have to restore the whole operating system. I had spent hours trying to figure out how to boot my computer normally since Microsoft has removed the option to boot into normal mode in the boot menu for Windows 10. This USB saved my ass. it was so easy to boot into it and reset the password. Seems like there are a bunch of other useful tools on it as well, but I haven't checked them out yet. I highly recommend this if you are having similar issues or are a tech that needs a decent repair disk. ... show more

    • Migrate OS onto a smaller capacity drive
I used the MiniTool Partition Wizard 12.8 that came loaded on the drive to migrate a larger 250 GB Sata onto a smaller 128 GB drive. Boots great on an Intel 14th generation i7 on an Asus motherboard.
