I really like this lamp. It looks really cool and doesn't take a lot of space. The remote control is nice but not terribly useful (though I guess maybe in some contexts it would be). It's also really neat that you can twist the sections individually to customize the configuration. It is, however, INCREDIBLY bright. As in blindingly bright, flash-bang grenade bright. Looking directly at it is not advised unless you're wearing those solar eclipse glasses. Maybe not even then. Put it in a corner and have the lights face the walls, and you'll still be brightening the entire room. Other than that, it has some issues involving stability and likely longevity. I didn't grade it too harshly on these, since stability is something you can avoid having a problem with if you can place the lamp correctly, and longevity is more of a guess. ... show more

This puts out some nice light, and for the price, it seems to be a pretty good value. It isn't a heavy duty lamp, so you probably won't want to move it around a lot. But once you park it in a spot (such as a corner), you will definitely appreciate the nice illumination it gives off. This is easily and quickly assembled in sections, and that takes just a few minutes. I actually like it, and will use it to bring some much-needed light to a relatively dark corner. ... show more

Brightness is not a problem for this lamp at all, rather the main issue is the unstableness that comes from stacking the 4th light bar. It is actually not a very big issue since it is supposed to be a corner lamp by design. My main criticism of it comes from the light switch. It is on the cord of the lamp so it's not very convenient for when you want to hide the cable. Would be nice to have it on a remote or the light switch being somewhere physically on the lamp itself. Perhaps switching it to permanently on and plugged it into a smart switch outlet controllable via phone might be the way to solve this problem. It is otherwise very easy to assemble, a one or two minute job at best and it's very bright. ... show more

I got this for use in a travel trailer where space is limited. This lamp tucks nicely into a corner using a tiny bit of space on the floor. You can put on all 4 light sections or use less. Be sure you fit the pieces together tightly. It comes with 2 screws for attaching the feet, but there is only a hole on the Y connector, not the feet pieces. It gives out a nice amount of light in a warm, non harsh color. My only major complaint is that it is not rigid enough to stay straight. It stands up by itself with no problem, but has a slight bow to it. I plan to snug it into a corner where hopefully it will rest up against the wall. ... show more

To begin with, one of the segments arrived with a broken panel despite remarkably good packaging - looks like it was packaged broken at the factory, indicating poor QA. Then, this lamp is amazingly flimsy. It will simply not stand upright - it'll droop and curve when assembled. What they call a "glossy shell" on one of the product pictures is ordinary injection molded plastic. The segments snap together easily enough, but don't try to lift the whole lamp by the top - segments disconnected when we tried to do so. The 360° of rotation are pretty bad. There is noticeable grit to the rotation, also, rotating it by anything other than the first segment causes the whole lamp to flex and twist with threatening sounds that made me stop trying to do so, I didn't want to break it. Surprisingly, it didn't want to tip over to where there are no feet - the base is heavy enough to keep it upright... kind of. All in all, it's a poor design quality product, and it would look out of place in rooms like the ones in the product listing. At least it's bright. ... show more
