Just the materials alone probably cost less than 30 cents to make. The plastic is very thin, feels just like an empty milk jug, but a milk jug probably has more structural integrity than this thing. The mesh is cheap plastic too, and is poorly glued to the plastic. Also, the mesh was torn when i recieved it in the mail. Can't believe I paid $20 for this thing. ... show more

Got this to deal with stuck sparges. We have been forced once or twice to do the cotton pillow case and squeeze method when we just couldn't get a good flow. Got tired of that and was looking for something better. Found it, this thing it great. Scoop in a few quarts and push around with hand to help the flow. In no time you'll recover that wort. Probably going to get the sizes down as well and see how well the sizing works to keep down the trub on my winemaking as well. Seems durable enough and cleans up well. Even managing just a few recoveries when doing beer pays for this easily. ... show more
