For over a decade, I've been using a shoe organizer for a spice rack because typical spice racks are so small and I keep a pretty big collection of spices on hand Every once in a while I'd look, find some custom racks that were out of my price range and little else, and give up. But I came across this recently and it fits the need perfectly (and looks great). The shelves are adjustable, so the bigger containers can have their own space. It can hang over a door or be installed on a wall. The shelves are a sturdy wire mesh so you don't have to worry about buildup. And the visibility you can get on each container is great. No more digging around and emptying out a whole shelf to try to find a specific spice. It also freed up a ton of counter space for me and lets me have spices so much closer to the stove. The media could not be loaded. I am 100% thrilled with this over the door pantry organizer. It’s very well-designed, with stabilizing back bar braces, sturdy baskets, and multiple ways to hang it according to your preference. I had been using an over the door shoe organizer that I thought was utilizing the space well, but I was shocked to see how much more I could store in this rack. I seriously just want to go stare into my pantry and enjoy how nice it looks, and I don’t think I’ve ever really felt that way. One thing that annoyed me when I was putting it together was the number of parts and screws required to assemble the rack. It shipped in a small box, so you can tell there will be a lot of assembly as soon as you see it. It did come with a typical short allen wrench and a flat cut nut wrench that will make you wish you had better tools, but it wasn’t difficult. Just time-consuming. While I would have been thrilled with having longer side pieces for easier assembly, I also found that having more pieces makes this rack even more adjustable. For example, this rack would be perfect for the inside wall of my pantry in addition to the door unit, except the height of the rack makes it too tall for the place I want to put it. It could still work if I just assemble it without one section of side bars, so I’d have a shorter rack with no problem. You could combine parts of multiple to create a much longer rack as well, especially if you have high ceilings. I am ordering another for my pantry wall, and may order more for my art studio. We bought this to add some extra storage to our small pantry. We love the extra space, but the racks that are used to keep taller items in place move too easily. We ended up just taking them out and using the shelves without them. If you don't need the racks to hold things in place, it works great!

I love that this item is metal and the shelves are adjustable. Many options for storage. I used the bars to hold items onto the shelves. I'm not sure what they are for, but are perfect, as you can see by what I quickly put on the shelves. The instructions are not explanatory, but the pictures are a big help. Just take your time and pay attention to the parts and the descriptions. I have mine hanging - there are pads that go on the back, and 2 wide sticky pieces with hooks to hold the shelving unit to the door. This seems very well built and sturdy...will certainly buy 1 or 2 more! ... show more

What great find and value! These shelves came very nicely packaged and were easy to install. They can be installed on the wall as we did, or hung on a door with the included hooks. Wow, do they hold a lot and everything within view. I tried different items and I could have fit a double row of soup size cans stacked 2 high if I had wanted ( see picture). The shelf spacing can be adjusted to accommodate items of different heights and the shelves are 6 inches deep. The only downside I see is: you lose a little of the shelf depth where the stabilizer bar is and with weight on it, the mesh sags very slightly in the middle of the shelves. I am thrilled with the added storage for $65. I saw the same thing at 3x the price on another website. ... show more

Excellent product. Looks beautiful and is very sturdy. I ended up screwing it to the door of my pantry and it stays firmly fixed to the door. Very spacious and accommodate a lot of things I use it to store baking supplies which have small containers and even though the door is opened and close multiple times during the day nothing has to toppled off.
