  • Clean holes, professional results
Style: Hole Punch A
I am so glad I chose these over the squeeze type rotational hole maker. I saw some comments about how challenging they can be to use. This was my first time using a belt hike maker and could not be happier with the results. Be prepared to do some tapping with a hammer and make sure you are on a surface you will not damage. I did it in a countertop with a small notebook under it so as not to chip the counter. The most challenging part will be lining up the holes. Making the holes is easy. You will be doing some tapping. But I was also being cautious not to damage the marble countertop. If you are on a nice solid work bench you may be able to just give it two or three good sacks. Place the hole punch on the good side of the belt. Here is a a tip on how zI got the holes lined up: Get several thumb tacks and place them in the holes already there with points facing up. Get a piece of paper and line up the edge to the edge of your belt and press so that you make a perfect template of exactly the positioning of holes. Then move the paper down with the edge lined up to she of your belt. Place the paper over the last two thumbtacks yo keep it stable then use a pen to mark out the spots on the paper where the thumbtacks made holes. (I hope this all made sense). Now you know exactly there the new holes should be! I made these marks on the underside of the belt but you do not have to. Then I took a utility knife and twisted it around and around over the pen mark till it just whet through the belt. This did not make the hole I wanted but it did go through to make a pinpoint on the good side of the belt so I knew exactly where to make my holes. But you can just use the template paper to mark your holes with pen on the good side. Just of course be careful not to slip and make an off mark, especially if the belt is light color. The process was actually easy and kinda fun! ... show more

  • So glad I bought these
Style: Hole Punch A
These have been the key to a number of beginner leather projects lately. It's really nice to have a variety of sizes available for the different hardware I've been using and these are better quality than the punches that have come in other kits. Just make sure you use scrap wood or some safe surface underneath for when they cut through the leather! ... show more

  • Pretty good
Style: Hole Punch A
I had gotten these before purchasing a hand-puncher. The smaller sizes are a bit hard to completely punch through SH biothane for me as a small woman. The larger sizes, I found to be pretty easy. Good for price. I did find them to dull a bit over time

  • Nice!
Style: Hole Punch A
These are smaller than I thought but that’s my fault for not reading the sizes. They seem like some nice punches and I’m definitely keeping them.

  • Meh
Style: Hole Punch A
These were very sharp and took a Lott of effort to add a hole in a belt. Plus side is they were cheap and easy enough to sharpen with a file.
