I am very pleased with the Lunies Seed Starter Tray. The (Kale) seeds germinated within 4 days and grew tall and strong. 3 of the 6 trays didn't get as many hours of light (my experiment) and those seedlings grew tall and skinny. The description and pictures showed that this kit comes with TWO 3-in-1 cables, each cable running the lights on 3 trays. This was the reason I bought this model. I wanted to have 3 trays at work and leave 3 trays at home. Instead, the kit only has ONE 6-in-1 cable. If I want trays at home and at work, I have to buy a second kit. This is a great idea for seed starting. The LED lights are full spectrum and are really bright. Seeds came up and were bright and full. The trays make watering and transplanting very easy

The set itself looks pretty good. It's not a thick hard plastic but it's not flimsy either. It's about as thick as a Ziploc Tupperware container. I haven't used it yet because it doesn't come with a power source. It comes with a USB cord to connect to the lights but nothing to plug that into an outlet. Not the biggest of deals if you have extra adapters lying around but I've bought other grow lights that have a timer and plug into the wall and I was assuming the same. And I have to buy an adapter and timer to go with this to make it fully functional for my forgetful self. I will update my review once I've had a chance to us it. I do think it will serve me well once a it's fully functional ... show more

I started with onion seeds and was surprised how quickly they sprouted in these! In about 7 days I was able to take the lid off (the sprouts were big enough) you can hook 3 per a cord (doesn't come with wall box) highly recommend!
