The adhesive is really good, it can fit on everything from french doors, cabinets to toilets. It provides security and safety for your toddlers. It is easy to use but I recommend not closing the side without the button to open until you have measured and cut it making sure it fits the space needed because once you do it is not able to open again. as soon as this arrived we put it in almost everything. we have a toddler in the home that goes into anything he can find and this is one of the only things we have used to help keep him out. worth every penny to say the least. very easy to use just take of the peely part and you simply put it on, almost like a command strip. it sticks on well and seems to work even with water. the only problem we had was with one door we’ve tested about three strips on and he always seems to find a way to open it but it he was very motivated and strong and the door is heavy. last long for the other stuff ... show more

In case you were wondering, this is the face of defeat. This dog loves eating and ripping through my garbage. I would put a huge 25lb bag of dog food on the lid and she would just knock it off and go to town. I bought these hoping that they could stop her. This dog managed to rip the top of the bag off BUT THE LOCKS NEVER BROKE and she wasn’t able to get into the can! Finally something shepherd proof! Definitely recommend ... show more

My cat will open cupboard/cabinets in the middle of the night and gets stuck in them. She'll then continually pop It open and closed just enough to make noise all through out the night because she can't figure out how to get out. I installed these to each door. Problem solved!

I put these on my fridge and cabinets to prevent our toddler from opening them, the inspector gadget stuff that he does in the house. This item did not stick long to the fridge as my toddler was able to pull it off within a week. Same thing with one of our cabinets. The glue or adhesive needs to be stronger please. ... show more
