  • Clean cuts!
Size: 10"*80T
I replaced the old blade in my mitre saw with this one, and cuts are so much cleaner! The 80 tooth count really makes a difference, and if you are making finish quality pieces, I really recommend this blade.

  • Good saw blade for my cutoff saw
Size: 12"*80T
Smooth cuts. Balanced and stays sharp so far. Would get again!

  • Good blade, smooth cuts
Size: 10"*80T
I was surprised how well this blade cut. The blade is thinner than most of my other blades, I'm guessing 3/32" at the most. The 80 tooth 10" blade has a 5/8" arbor hole and an alternate top bevel tooth pattern. I didn't experience the singing that other reviewers reported but then I also use a 4" blade stabilizer. The cuts in hardwood (crosscut) and plywood were very smooth with no tear-out at all. There is enough carbide on the teeth to have the blade sharpened several times, but it's probably not worth it. You will spend more on the sharpening than you would on a new blade. ... show more

  • Good low-priced 12" 80 Tooth carbide blade
Size: 12"*80T
I ordered the 12" version of this 80 tooth blade for my DeWalt sliding miter saw. This blade has individually brazed carbide cutting teeth, sightly wider than the thickness of the blade, resulting in slightly a wider kerf than the DeWalt blade which has teeth the same width as the blade. For use in a miter saw, that doesn't really matter, though. This X-YEAH blade has a 1" arbor hole just like the DeWalt blade, and the saw has a 5/8" arbor so I used the adapter that was on the old blade when installing. Note that this blade comes with a 7/8" adapter, so you'll most likely be using your current adapter instead of the one that comes with this blade. I ran some quick crosscut tests of this blade and compared them against cuts in the same material using my old DeWalt 32 tooth General Purpose blade (the blade that came with the saw 5 years ago). What I found was that surprisingly enough, there was very little difference in cut quality between these two blades. I do mostly cabinet making as opposed to rough carpentry, and my old blade is in pretty good shape. It's by no means in the same league as Freud or Diablo, but this blade will be a good backup blade should something happen to my primary DeWalt blade, or if I need to cut laminates or something delicate. Additionally, the 10" version of this blade would be good for use in a table saw to cut thin plywood, plastics and laminates in place of the coarse alternating set-tooth rip blades that usually come packaged with a table saw. ... show more

  • Great Cuts At A Great Price / Very Smooth Cuts On 1x2 Treated Pine
Size: 7-1/4"*40T
Lucky for me I was already doing some projects when I found this blade. I took the blade I've been using off my circular saw and compared the two before testing this new one. As you can see in the pics the bottom one, my old one, is noticeably thicker, especially the base plate. I can only assume that would make this new one a "thin kerf" blade and mine probably a thick kerf. Do your research as I've only just begun to learn some of this and the differences. A thin kerf is supposed to make thinner cuts, save material, and prolong battery life on cordless saws. That, along with this being a 40 tooth blade and mine a 24, made my cuts really clean. There is a little contradiction between the description of "Best used for miter saw and slide miter saw jobs" and the illustrations not showing those saws but instead showing circular and table saws. If you're shopping saw blades online you already know or have done some research to know what to look for in a saw blade. If you don't or haven't do so. Maybe ask a good carpenter for advice. Go to the big box stores and get your hands on a few blades. Feel and see the differences and read the labels. When the sun comes up and I'm back at it I'm going to put my old blade back on and save this one for finer cuts where appearance matters. A little splintering on my current project won't matter. Great product at a great price! ... show more

  • It's a fair blade
Size: 10"*80T
Got this to use for finer work on either my table saw or my miter saw, haven't decided which one yet or maybe both. It's a pretty standard blade. Seems to be made fairly well but pretty much the same as most other blades in this range. It is nice and sharp has the proper amount of teeth, and they are carbide tipped as stated in the ad. Can't really say anything about how durable it will be, that takes time and use but it should be a huge improvement over the stock blades I have on my saws at the moment. From what I see I'd say that it is a fair blade for the price. ... show more

  • Sharp, cuts well, but "sings" a bit
Size: 12"*80T
I wanted a new blade for my DeWalt miter saw and decided to try this one. I've shown some comparison photos here with the X-YEAH alongside my old 80-tooth blade. Unfortunately, after a few sharpenings, the old blade has lost all of its markings, so I'm not sure of the brand, but it's likely the same as the saw itself. Quick comparisons: The carbides on the old blade are definitely larger, so they would stand up to more sharpenings before the blade is worn out. The gullets on the old blade are deeper, meaning that I could make faster cuts through thick material on the old blade. The laser cuts are "different" between the two; I can't say offhand which pattern is inherently better. I'm not positive, but the tooth angle may be more aggressive on the X-YEAH I think this blade is fine, and it will do well for most of the work I do. The one thing I did want to point out is that it definitely continues to ring after the cut is made. Ringing is vibration, and too much vibration causes poor cuts, although I'm not sure this much would make a noticeable difference. Maybe this is the result of the laser cut pattern in the blade. If that doesn't bother you, then give this blade a try! ... show more

  • Good blade
Size: 7-1/4"*40T
This seems to be an overall quality product. The quality is great, with minimal burning. The blade fit great on my saw and the teeth were super sharp. Would recommend using for a number of different projects.
