I'm not sure I ever realized how useful this bit would be, but it's definitely made me rethink a few future projects so that I can include this into my design plans. I've always avoided doing tongue and groove because the bits are so expensive. These are quite a value. In addition to the bits and the extra pieces to modify them, you get two sturdy plastic cases which is better than any of my other bits came in. The bits themselves are sharp and cut well. The cutters and the shaft feel quite solid, as they should. Even if they only last have as long as my more expensive bits, they're still a good value. I just need these for occasional work for things around the house so it's not like I'll be using them often enough to wear them out anyway. ... show more

I always wanted to try making my own tongue and groove paneling, siding and flooring. I have a sawmill and wood shop. These router bits make a nice addition to my collection of tools. They are rugged and well made. Each bit comes in a round plastic case that keeps them from bouncing around in the shop when not in use. This bit set makes clean cuts. They came with some very small chips in the carbide cutting edges on many of the bits, but those did not affect the cuts. The bearings are good and each one is in a plastic container which is labeled with the size of the bit so it's easy to grab one and know exactly what you're getting.
