The manufacturer should include specific installation instructions. These are located on the Amazon page...at the very bottom. Notes included on that site refer to cleaning the wall and heating the adhesive pads for 2 minutes with a hair dryer and then allowing 24 hours before inserting the second plate. Probably explains why there are some complaints about adhesion.

At first the adhesive is very strong but after a few days it’s starting to come off, the area is clean but most likely the outlet is too heavy not 100% sure

Great idea, great interlocking mechanism. Only down fall I had it didn't stay sticking for no long then a month I had to use the double sided alien tape to help keep it in place stuck.

For sure a game changer! And for the amount you get compared to the price tag it's very much worth it, saves so much trouble having to deal with nails or thumbtacks or whatever you were originally trying to use to get your power strip on the wall or stay put on a flat surface, you could probably also get creative and use these for other things that aren't power strips
