They're only 2 mil but they seem to have a good bottom seal. They're strong, sturdy, large and fit a 5 gallon bucket easily, nice thick material. They can be used for so many things in and out of the kitchen. Would have been nice if they came with some closure ties.

Got this through the Vine. Got these just in time for Thanksgiving. I can not wait to use it to brine and marinade my turkey, so excited. I would almost describe these bags as thick as tarps! Leak proof for sure and would hold a great deal of weight in it! I used it to throw in steamed vegetables and didn't shrink melt rip or anything! Super heavy duty!

The bucket liner bags are thin, but says it will hold 55 lbs wet or 75 lbs dry food. They can be used with a 5 pound bucket or with the 22 qt camber food storage containers. These are the type of liners we typically use for big family gatherings, where we are either marinading carne asada or veggetables.
