This is a strong, well-made, full-size rake. Unlike most rakes, this has a stainless-steel handle instead of a wooden one. That means that this rake is lighter and stronger than others. In a close inspection, the tines on this rake are very solid and thick. Once screwed together, the long handle has no wiggle or movement at all. The welds that hold the tines to the mount seem strong and I expect them to hold up under the most strenuous usage. I have several rakes on my farm. I was skeptical of how "Heavy Duty" this lawn rake would be. I was right to be cautious, as it is more lightweight than you might think. The handle comes in 4 pieces, and is thin walled tubing that screws together. The handle then attaches to the base rake by two bolts. The base rake is pretty good, and honestly. It would be better if they reduced the price and only sold the bottom rake portion for less, and then had the consumer purchase their own wooden handle. Sturdier than I thought once I saw you had to screw it together. Though, it does unscrew itself fairly easily, maybe a little glue would solve that. Good quality though!
