This is a nice freezer so far. It works great, I just hope it will last. I say that because the price was so reasonable, I hope the quality is good. My big complaint about this freezer is that the plastic covering over the sides of the freezer is nearly impossible to get off. It would take me hours because it is so stuck on the surface, so I gave up at least for now. The top of the freezer did not have the plastic covering and arrived with some significant scratches. I don't care about this because the freezer is in the basement. The other issue is the instructions are very poorly translated. They are very hard to understand. I like to skim through instructions of appliances so I use it as suggested and also pay attention to the care instructions, but I was unable to get much out of the instructions because of the clumsy translation. ... show more

I received this freezer about 2 days ago and I was instantly impressed with how little noise it made and how well it worked. Although the reason I didn't give a five star review are because of 2 reasons. 1) it came leaking water, right out of the box, that doesn't seem like a good sign but I dont put too much thought into it. 2) This is the big reason, trying to rip off the plastic that encases the entire freezer is beyond difficult. It is as if they encased the freezer with plastic and then just put the freezer together afterward including the logo, the dials and the hinges. So if you try to take off the plastic, its almost impossible to take it off from those areas, therefore it is a huge eyesore since there is a ton of plastic still hanging in the cracks and its extremely time consuming and difficult to take it all off. ... show more

Purchase last week connected power and it ran Beautifully (*quickly drop in temperature) ...didn't have to wait 24 hours - more like 10 hrs...but I played it safe and waited till morning to insert frozen ice cream and meats ..and a bag of ice ...placed control dial at 6 (not 7)....and it seem to stay between -11 &-14. * used a digital infrared thermometer to verify temps .....dont know why people complain of * protective plastic cover on freezer....just remove from box and plug in !! fect size to put in my small car garage. My first impression when I got it was too small, but it actually fits more foods than it looks. I am very happy with it, it freezes up my meats and seafoods pretty quick. Also, it is very quiet and lightweight.

The media could not be loaded. I like the color, it has a coating that keeps it from being scratched. It has a temperature gauge on the outside you can see. I received the first freezer 12-30-2022, followed all directions, plugged it in, it sounded like it was functioning properly, initial setting at 3, upped to 5, then level 7, and after 7 hours of running the inside was still room temperature. I am attempting to return the item as defective. UPDATE: Communication with manufacturer, through Amazon, was easy and productive. Replacement freezer received 01-12-2023 (white instead of black). I let it sit and settle for 4 hours after transport. I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. I was impressed how quickly it cooled down to temp. Some frozen food now loaded and I believe that it will satisfy my particular need. ... show more
