Rug is much thinner than expected. The nonslip backing does not work well either. You have to be careful when walking across the rug because the fabric the shag is made from 10 to be slippery under foot. Not really impressed with the rug. Also, it is impossible to vacuum and with the rug being 8 x 10, it is also impossible to pick it up and shake it out. I only used it in my bedroom for about a week. I have stored it for a few months and I’m looking at possibly putting it in the laundry area in my basement. Definitely feel this rug is over priced. ... show more

The only positive thing about this rug was its dimensions. The description faux furry rug is correct, it is by no means a "fluffy" type of faux fur that the descriptive picture has you believe. The fur is more a multitude of fur strips and very shiny and glossy looking. Be aware that if wearing socks it can be a slipping hazard as the fur is very slick and more so if walking on with wet bare feet. Does not absorb water at all. While this is a nice big rug, I’m not loving it like I’d hoped. The color is nice, it is really soft, and the backing seems like it will hold the rug in place well… but it looks and feels a bit cheap. I was just hoping for something that felt more substantial. The soft fluffy fibers seem like that of a somewhat inexpensive stuffed animal, and it feels slick to walk on in socks. It comes folded, which I know is easier and cheaper for shipping, but straight out of the package it is a rumpled mess. It also doesn’t provide much cushion, and I wanted this for the kids to play on, but now it just looks like a nightmare for legos to hide in, and this will be in the room with the legos! I’m also worried that the long fluffy fibers will ended up looking matted and yucky in no time… they already don’t look great in my opinion - maybe that prediction is wrong, but I’ve only ever had one high pile rug that looked nice after months of regular use. I just don’t expect this rug to last long for our needs. ... show more
