This rear view mirror worked great. It took a while to install everything but it all worth it. I like that this is touchscreen interface and I can split the screen to front and rear view to have a better view around the vehicle.     • In the day time it's better to use as a mirror.
The glare from the sun makes using the screen pointless. During the night the cameras have a good image and seem to have a good refresh rate. The collision alert is a bit to sensitive, any pot hole or bump seems to set it off and that's setting it on the lowest setting.

The bracket holding the back camera is uneven and cheap. Tilts the camera a bit and cannot be bent into shape. Lines appear when in reverse to help you park but they are totally inaccurate and worthless. Distracting if anything. The mirror itself is heavy and begins to sag from its position when you hit bumps and is distracting to readjust. I tried using it as a regular mirror but when it is angled for the driver to view the rear, the front camera is pointing up and to the left. It can be adjusted slightly but still not catching the right side and is about a foot above the hood of the car at its furthest adjustment. It also took My friend 5 hours to install and he installs electronics in helicopters. A pro would likely cost 300 bucks, Unless you want the wires just floating about. ... show more

    • Need idea, but didn't work for us
We could not get it to go on with the parking lines when in Reverse. We've installed other mirrors, and this just wasn't doing it. (Someone else had the same issue). My daughter tried it with just using it in Rear View Mode, which was fine until it wasn't. We went away for a few days and she came home to a dead battery. Because of the dash cams it is constantly on, so you have to unplug it if you aren't going to be using the car for any length of time. We returned it for a simpler one that isn't a dash cam, and that works properly with the backup lines while in Reverse. ... show more

Everything with this product so far has been great! Awesome quality, very clear and smooth! No complaints as of yet except that it does get hot when you touch it but not much of an issue as long as it works great. Very easy installation and don't really have to worry about battery life since it's plug in at all times anyways. Love the way you can have split screen or just one screen if you want to focus on the front cam or back one. Love it so far, would recommend this one if you want a mirror one. ... show more
