I have purchased two of these cameras. One continues to work satisfactorily but the other refuses to charge from the solar panel. I have switched panels and moved to a sunnier spot with no effect. The defective camera will charge fine on house current. Seller does not provide a way to contact for help, just a useless troubleshooting "guide". I do not recommend purchasing. ... show more

I purchased this in October 2023, now it doesn't seem to be charging from the solar panel. I bought a new solar panel and it still is not charging. I have tried to attached power to it and still not luck. How do I change/purchase a replacement battery? Also how do you change the time zone? I'm in AZ with no daylight savings yet the camera is on Denver time. Thank you ... show more

The instructions are simple and easy although I didn't even need them as it was so easy to set up and install, I literally had it up and running in less than 10 minutes! The camera quality is amazing, I love the zoom and pan feature and it's so easy to control right from my phone. I don't have to set a zone or area, the angle is wide enough to get the entire back porch. I can easily pan it around to see the backyard. The media could not be loaded. This fits everything I needed! I'm moving to another property and the lady next to me has already stolen my $50 shovel. I needed a easy to use app, Notified me via phone (I'm at work and I get real time alerts when the mailman walks into the detection area, and my boyfriend taking out our dog while Iwas at work), spotlight when it's dark (forgot that first early morning and i took out the dog and got to the front of the porch and turned on the spotlight, have a funny clip alert of me swinging around at it in surprise at 3:30 am) , we've tested the intercom and it works adequately. I'm most grateful for being able to put in a S.D. card and being able to save anything from prior alerts to being able to record live though you do have to format it through the app when first starting up which was relatively easy. I'm feeling more relieved about once the internet is up and running out there putting it up to keep an eye on things until this spring when we can actually move out there. I found I liked this one so well I went ahead and purchased a second to get more coverage. I haven't hooked up the solar charger yet and tested that, I've just charged it inside and put it back on its base but it's charge has lasted over a week already! I accidentally deleted the camera on the app and had to restart from step one but though frustrated with myself for doing it I'm glad in hindsight because now I know if something happens it reconnects effortlessly and starts right back up with no problems. For the price I paid I'm surprised, after browsing Amazon for a month trying to figure out which would have all the options I wanted (able to move the camera around remotely, spotlight, intercom, solar power, alerts, and most importantly use a S.D. card so I wouldn't have to use any services to store and get monthly fees) I'm very thankful and happy with my decision to get this security system! So many great and awful reviews had me scared to settle on one, This is Mechelle in Tennessee and I just wanted to let those browsing my personal feedback. Edit, I tried to repurchase this product.
