We ordered this motor to do a rebuild for the second time me and my boys 3, and 5 years old but right away out of the box we had issues got the motor put together and tried to fire it up but we were not getting spark at all we tried everything even replaced the stator plate spark plug coil and ignition switch then last but not least the cdi and we finally got spark but it still wouldnt start and then i decided to use my old carburetor from a previous motor and two weeks after buying it we finally started the motor and took a drive yesterday afternoon now i will say we did purchase the premium 4 year protection plan but we decided to take the time ourselves and work this brain scratcher out ourselves but iam wanting to have my stator plate and carburetor replaced due to it belonging to my other project bike but this motor was garanteed to start with everything it was shipped with but all in all iam pretty impressed great motor excellent performance now i will say the first time my boys an i built this bike it was stolen from us twice in one week we got it back both times with our own hard work but this bike is a family hobby for me and my growing boys as we are all 3 of us new to the power sports world this being our first bike but second time we built it. ... show more

I would have give them a five out of five but we got no instructions or diagram on how to do the wiring other than that the motor worked really good we got it when they said they would ship it and even got it at a decent price

I’ve purchased the engine on May got it on the 20th of may, been riding Around in my Apollo Rfz swapped with this engine ever since, it’s currently august 15th and the bike still runs Real strong, Still idles good starts up 1-2 kick with or without Gas, I have an aftermarket 24mm carb on it, pops wheelies Like it’s nothin, Definitely will be buying this engine again 100% ... show more

The clutch was sticky at first, until you get it going and shifting through th gears, then it’s works fine. Been having an issue with the kickstarter though, it goes into like a neutral for a few kicks, then gabs and fires rights up first kick (not grinding noise) Kind of weird.

Replaced the motor on my daughter’s Apollo 125. Was easy to install, had to splice some wires (simple nothing too complicated) and it started on the first kick. Definitely recommend if you’re in the market for a new motor. Edit**it did have the option of electric start. Not something we needed but cool to see. Also, we had to put the old carb back on, because whatever this one came with com the motor was getting too much air, and it was idling incredibly high. Blew the motor on my SSR and bought this as a replacement. Easy to switch the motors out. The one problem I had was I couldn’t get the motor to idle right with the carb they provided. I hooked up the old carb and it was all good to Go.
