THIS KIT ISN'T PLUG AND PLAY!!! there is things you'll have to trouble shoot and fix, it isn't as simple as putting it on the bike. the kit comes packaged well with the gas tank and motor in a Styrofoam box. all peices in the kit are quality, comes with a 4 bolt tensioner unlike what is shown in the photos. when you get the motor, align the magneto, grease the drive splines and make sure the piston is orientated in the right direction. the kit took me 3 hours to assemble with minor modification. my kill switch had a bridge between the contacts so check that to make sure thats not your problem if your not getting spark. when installed properly and set up it runs good! break it in on 20 to 1 conventional then run it on 32 to 1 full or semi synthetic for the rest of its life. Id recommend upgrading the exhaust and the spark plug as you start as with getting a 36 tooth chaining. dont buy this kit if your not mechanically inclined, it doesn't just bolt together. great deal for 140$ ... show more

There are numerous problems with the kit itself. Off the top of my head: the carbeurtor has a fuel leak right out of the package. The wires don't fit into the connectors. The chain it comes with is terrible. The sprocket it comes with is made of cheap material. The two pieces of rubber that are for the sprocket are terrible. The instructions are vague and blatantly wrong sometimes. The spark plug doesn't spark. This is not worth it's price. The engine blatantly doesn't work. Save your money and just buy an ebike/motorcycle/minibike with less building requried. ... show more

This kit is worth the money but your going to need to get another type of sprocket not the rag joined also pick up a spring tensioner and or tensioner system ditch the chain and get a 415h chain use 40 to 1 on your oil mix ratio. Ive had the motor going for a few weeks now broke stock chain and had running issues with tension roller the motor has been great tho it will definitely get up to 45mph no problem get some breaks and buy a helmet ! With a lil upgrading well worth the purchase. Shipping was super fast oh yea make sure you get a u joint mount for your frame your gonna need one trust me ! This is not a plug and play project so expect to put some work in the directions are a joke parts are pretty fair . ... show more

I purchase and install motorbike kits regularly. This is my first time purchasing this brand. First impression: this is a good kit with everything included. Most kits are lacking the small extras needed for a good install, such as zip ties, metal support to keep the muffler from vibrating too much (the screws will eventually come loose and fall out without it), drill bit for the throttle hole you will need to drill, fuel hose clamps, etc. etc. 👍 Also it comes with halfway decent instructions. (Most are completely worthless. You can find good install videos online if you are new.) The engine sounds good, feels powerful, and started up right away. The first test runs went smoothly. I will update as time goes on...but so far I would recommend this kit. 👍 ... show more

The kit was very fast getting up to around 30-35mph. Definitely need more experience than suggested to put this together well. I rode it for maybe a mile and a half and I noticed that the muffler was loose. Trying to screw it back in, it broke right off getting stuck inside the cylinder. Had to get help from a friend that spent around 2 hours to install a new part just to get home. Not even 30 minutes of riding and it broke. Very disappointed, asking for a refund. ... show more

This engine performs really good. Ranging from speed, fuel efficiency and reliability. Topping out at around 30-35 mph for me. I get around almost 50 miles per tank which isn’t bad at all for such a small engine. It’s a reliable engine as parts are cheap or expensive to fix but it differs. Ranging from 10-100 dollars per part/set. A couple down side parts about this engine is how it maintains. I’ve had this engine for about a month and it was slowly dying on me until it gave up. Parts from inside the engine and outside were breaking off. While also destroying the inside of the engine. Parts are cheap but with all of the money I spent on parts. I could have gotten me a brand new engine kit/set. Now these are Chinese motors and I wasn’t expending alot from it. But surviving only a month and it broke on me already? That’s pretty bad. I’m giving this product a 3/5. A three for the fuel efficiency, speed and reliability. Removing two stars because of how cheap the engine is made of, and how easy parts can break off. The engine was great easy to install and started up right away! It ran great for almost a month with going 30 miles 1 way for a total of 60 miles round trip 2-3xs a week. Unfortunately my motor did have a factory flaw in the cylinder head and ultimately met it's demise....HOWEVER!! JTHROP STOOD BEHIND THERE GARENTEE AND PRODUCT AND IS SENDING ME A NEW KIT! SO I GIVE 5 STARS ALL THE WAYFOR THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED! ... show more
