Description

Each mantel is unique and may have different knots and grains, each mantle is one of a kind! Dimensions- 6"tall X 5.5" deep X 48" long. The mantel will come with a wooden mounting strip, and mounting hardware. MUST BE MOUNTED INTO STUDS. Place wooden mounting strip against wall and drive hardware through predrilled holes into studs in the wall. The wooden mounting strip can be leveled by uning a level, or measuring down from the ceiling and marking the wall at the desired height on both ends of the mounting strip. Then simply hang the mantel on the mounting strip, the angle of the mounting strip will pull the shelf into the wall and make it sturdy. Follow all local building codes for clearances

We turned to amazon when we needed something for above our fireplace to keep the TV from getting so hot. This is what I settled on as I loved the look and wanted something easy to install or I would have just taken the time to construct myself. I have a dual fireplace. So, I needed 2 mantels. The craftsmanship was fantastic, The color was beautiful, It was very simple to put up. Not to heavy at all. End it looks really nice. Plus if you’re shopping around for mantels I have to say there are so many out there that are like 300 $400 and this one looks really nice I get a lot of compliments and it was $98 for each one. Can’t go wrong. Plus the company is American made and if you need help with anything they speak English, (not to be mean or anything, It’s just that Verizon and many, many large big name companies have now outsourced their customer service overseas. So yes, it is very difficult to understand some accents When you’re not used to them) I just had them put up . I have yet to decorate, but, I am looking forward to Christmas so that we can hang stockings finally !! I still have wires coming down from the tv because that was just put up also . Lol my electrician is going to be drilling into the stone to hide my wires and tape up others hanging lol ... show more

Really nice looking mantle at a great price. It’s real wood, and hanging it is extremely easy (once you have the mounting bracket up - which is also easy). Ours has a ‘snake’ pattern in it and I totally dig it. Highly recommend. Fast shipping too.

I used the mantle to block rising heat from a baseboard heater below my TV. It works good enough for that. It’s unfinished, that’s the look I wanted. It’s a little narrower than I realized on researching. Won’t hold anything wider than about 5 inches.

I chose the Rustic color, and it’s almost identical to the coloring of wood of my entertainment center. A very clever hanging system. The mantle was shipped promptly and packaged well.
