I got an electric scooter for my wife and the charger was missing. So I looked up the voltage and amperage that it took and this charger matched, there are many like this out there but this one came with several different style plugs taking the guesswork out of shopping for my specific use. I also really appreciate all the current protection built into this charger, I don't have to worry about it causing the battery in the scooter to overcharge or anything.     • Works well and with several brands of scooters, but perhaps not as fast as other chargers.
I bought this charger as compact backup to keep on my scooter and possibly leave at the office. I like it's versatility, value, and size. PROS: It is light and fairly compact so it’s easy to keep in my scooter’s bag. It’s about 25% smaller than my original charger, and the power cord is removable for compact storage. The adapter-plugs attach snugly and enable charging different brands if scooters, which is nice in case I get a different brand of scooter someday (or if a coworker needs to use it at the office). The charger displays a red-light when charging and a green light when charging is complete. CONS: I rode my fully-charged 10.5Ah (378Wh) scooter for 11.3 miles and had 27% charge remaining. I then charged it through a Killawatt meter so that I could measure the charger’s output power, swapping it back and forth with my original charger and the Kssvzz charger, both of which are rated at 2A (2 amps of current). The meter showed the following: Kssvzz charger: 0.77A , 60W, Power factor 0.64 (Higher is better for all three measurements.) Original charger: 1.01A, 78W, Power factor 0.62 Therefore, this Kssvzz charger is likely to take ~1.3 times longer to charge my scooter than my original charger. That’s fine for charging overnight, and maybe during a workday, but not so great if you need a faster charge time. I’ve never been in that situation of needing a quick recharge because I almost always charge overnight. However, in fairness, I didn’t sit around determining how long each of my chargers take to fully charge my scooter from say, 27% to 100%. It’s possible that there is some kind of adaptive charging being done based on how full the battery is. So for all I know, both chargers might actually charge the battery in the same amount of time, but I doubt it. ... show more

I am using this to charge the battery on a Hoverfly electric bike. It is a functionally direct replacement for the charger that came with the bike at half the price. This is a really useful charger as it comes with virtually every plug you could ever need. The LED on the charger turns from red to green when the battery is fully charged. ... show more
