My son is 16 and starting to get into working on stuff around the house to help with fixes, upgrades, etc. I wanted to get him a simple set of tools to be able to keep in his room for when he wants to tackle a light project. He has other tools that I've gotten him that are dedicated to keeping in the workshop but these are perfect for keeping in the house. The Arucman 427-piece tool set comes with just about everything you would need in a “Home” tool kit. There are approximately 100 actual tools…the remaining 300+ are more like accessories: zip ties, screws, a hammer cap and etc. By the way…I can’t recall ever seeing a tool kit that included a “hammer cap” with any tool kits and not real sure what its purpose would be. My kit was missing one 5.5 drill bits…not enough to bother the seller about but noted just the same. The kit arrived a little disheveled as some of the tools had been shaken out of their holders. The case itself is nice and compact for the amount of equipment inside. Everything is at your fingertips and easily identified. For the price, this is a fine small tool kit, and well outfitted. The contents will never be described as rugged and they aren’t meant for heavy duty jobs – you’re not building a house or rebuilding an engine, you’re undertaking minor repairs or assembling items such as furniture, within your house. The kit is neatly organized, holding just about everything you are going to need for your DIY and home improvement projects. What I like about this tool kit is that it's very well thought through with many practival items that one could need in any household. If you have no tool collection at home, then this is maybe not a bad choice. The case is ultra compact and very well organized. What bothers me most is the quality at the price you pay. Not saying this is hyper expensive, but you can see very well made tool sets from Home Depot or Lowes on sale regularly in the hundred dollar range and they have up to 350 pieces, but are definitely better quality tools overall. ... show more

We really love this home tool kit. Sometimes we call it a "kitchen" tool kit, but it's really more than that. But not too much more - it's in the sweet spot. We just got a new shed and moved almost all the tools out there to free up the garage. With that being the case, sometimes we still need a few tools handy for odds and ends in the house without taking up too much room or having to go to the shed. This fits the need perfectly! It has a wonderful variety of tools you will need in a pinch - especially screwdrivers, mini screwdrivers, a hammer, torpedo level, and measuring tape. Plus a few different pliers and wrenches. It actually has much more, but that's the most common stuff we'll use. As a caveat, most of the bits are metric, but that isn't a major obstacle to overcome. Everything else we only use occasionally, and would go out to the shed to get. However, this kit is fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend it. ... show more

I say this is somewhat misleading as they count every screw and individual zip-tie in their 427 Pieces. I get it, but I would prefer it be 1-set of 100mm zipties not 50 of 100 zipties going towards the total pieces count. ok, ok, /rant. I picked this up as an all in one kit to keep in our RV when traveling. There is always something that needs to be done and having this diverse set of tools all in one case and place is very useful. Don't get me wrong, this is not an end all be all set for RV'ing it's just a useful diverse set of tools and bits that are always nice to have. I do have another tool bag with some larger wrenches and other specialty items specifically for our RV BUT, this does compliment that bag very well. The one star was deducted for my opening rant, I would prefer to see 427 tools as in sockets, wrenches, bits, etc. Not count every screw, wirenut and ziptie. ... show more

Having seen numerous products of this manner, I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at the quality, assortment, and the case!! The tools are all manufactured using higher mid-grade materials and they come tucked, very comfortably and securely, in their own respective nooks within the case, which is also exceptionally sturdy. The entire set has the appearance and feel of long term durability. The assorted variety provides an ample selection of tools to cover a broad scope of project applications.
