Bought these last summer. They look great. However with all the rain we have had this winter and spring, multiple bulbs accumulated water and the string shorted out. Contacted lights.com. Was told the lights were past their 90 day warranty, but they would see what they could do. They never got back to me. The bulbs are supposed to be waterproof but obviously are not. And the manufacturer clearly recognizes what a shoddy product it has if it is only willing to warranty 90 days. ... show more

We ordered the Edison String Lights for our back porch, the bulbs are high quality plastic, a great added bonus since glass bulbs carry breakage concern especially outdoors. These lights are lightweight and contain hooks on each section for easy hanging. The Edison bulbs are warm and welcoming, and easy to install. One of the lightbulbs stopped working just a week after having them. Tried to return the product or get a refund and the company hasn’t been helpful or responsive to my request.

    • Proprietary connections
This is a cheap version of lights. Proprietary connections makes using with other lights that use standard 3 prong connections impossible. One light did not work so I tapped it a few times and it came on. I don’t expect these to last long. Would not buy again.
