Yes it is 4 way stretch, not 2 way. The stretch is okay but not fantastic like elastic band or pure spandex. It will not allow see through during stretch for the most part, as it is nice and thick quality. My only complaint would be the dull side is rough feeling and will be uncomfortable if directly on the skin. Keep this in mind in design, so you fold over the shiny side to wrap around an elastic band or a layer of other material to keep a good shape for collar, etc.... ... show more

This silky spandex fabric has a very smooth feel. I ordered the purple color, and it is a deep and vivid shade. The fabric also cuts well without fraying. It can stretch without becoming see through, making this a very versatile and forgiving fabric.

Great fabric. Cut short by 2” and not straight. Oh well! Making dolls for my 4 granddaughters and using for skin. It was way too PINK so I soaked it in very strong hot coffee with salt for 12 hours. It took just enough brown color to work. Now it smells “Just like MiMi”. I used the wrong side of the fabric as it is very shiny. Good value vs going to a fabric store or other “doll fabrics”.     • NOT A 4 WAY STRETCH MATERIAL
Size: 10 Yards Color: Black
This fabric only stretches 2 ways salvage to salvage and on the bias. But still does not stretch like spandex. I bought 10 yards of it and cannot use it for what I wanted. Can't return it bc I cut it before realizing the error in the description.

The color was spot on but speaking of spots... there's several stains on the fabric. I can only assume it's from the torn plastic bag it was in and the way it was thrown around the truck. Very disappointing. Not quite as stretchy as advertised. Overall, I'm going to make it work but may not order from here again. ... show more
