We wanted a hexagon cake for our wedding and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. We had a friend make it for us so we recieved the pans back. The only thing was to put parchment paper in the corners to help the shape come out of the pan.

Dont listen to the bad reviews, I was nervous to buy them just bc of the bad reviews of stating batter would leak ect but it doesnt . I have bake so many times qnd they are still in great shape. I ordered and received this set of pans. I haven't used them yet but be sure you have a ruler out to measure the size which I definitely should have done. The smallest one is not as long as from the back of my palm to the tips of my fingers. I had ordered them to have the largest one to bake a birthday cake for my son's high school teacher but they were not going to get here in time so I purchased a large Wilton sheet cake pan, thank goodness I did because after I got the pans the largest one was not near the size I needed. I am anxious to use them and see if the cakes come out of the pan easily because the information says to grease with butter. Also the pans came taped together with a large piece of tape which left residue inside the smallest pan and has to be scrubbed out, and the stickers on the bottom of each pan . Over all I was a little shocked by the size and the price I paid after seeing the product. I came back to my review post because I now have used these pans. The cakes came out ok. I like that the pans are heavy but I still prefer the Wilton Brand pans for my cake business. ... show more

I have to say I really liked these pans for the shape and better price than commercial baking pans. That being said, it’s important to note these are far thinner than commercial pans and I did experience some leakage along the seam. I discovered this while testing batter quantities with water.
