So far only one of the one way valves was faulty and let no air through, but there is an arrow to show which way the air should flow to make it easier. The tubing seems strong and is kind of stretchy, it does have a similar smell to a tire though. The tubing cuts easily with a poket knife or scissors, does not cut well with a serated knife. So far none of the connectors leaked air other than the one, one way valve. I did only use a couple of connectors and tried 5 of the one way valves though. The connections are strong between the tubing and the pieces are pretty hard to pull apart once fitted on properly though. My cats seems to really enjoy the smell of the tubing, and already tried to chew on it so I don't think I can recommend if it will be accessible to a cat. But it works well enough, probably won't buy again just because I'm worried the cat will try to eat it. ... show more

Looked like mine had already been opened and used and returned. I can see why. I got the 12 inch bubble rods. One didn't work at all and the other one barely works. Don't waste your money.

These diffusers are quaint, and most likely best for 20-gallon tanks.. I was hoping that I could use 2 in each of my 55-gallon tanks.. but physical sixe is too small.

I had one of these that came with my fish tank. It was a little shorter, but it worked. This set is even better because it will have a bubble wall with this kit!! I am very pleased with this set!!

these bubblers stopped working properly after 2 weeks. After a month, you only get air bubbles out of maybe 2 inches of the whole bar. Not worth it.
