I use these in the kitchen for my flour, sugar, etc. They look great out on the counter and are really air tight. The lids are really stiff though so they are difficult to get to snap on the first few times, thus making it difficult to get them back off. These containers are sturdy and holds a large amount of food. I love that the lids snap on each side to provide a tight seal to keep the food fresh and from spilling out. I use these containers for flour, sugar and cereal. Although I don't stack them because my kitchen cabinets don't have adequate height, they can be stacked and a great space saver on the counter or in a cabinet. The contemporary black labels that were provided with the marker makes it convenient to label them. The labels easily stick on the containers. However, I don't know how the labels would look after the container was washed. I guess, the label could just be replaced if it peeled off. I like the four measuring cups that were also included. They are color coded and marked with the size so you know exactly what the measurement is without any confusion . I was using a single measuring cup but now I have this set to use for measuring ingredients for baking. I also like that the containers are see through so it takes out any guessing of what's inside. These containers keep food organized and keeps food from falling out if tipped over. My only suggestion would be that they had a handle. They're able to be picked up but a handle would make it easier and a less chance of dropping it, especially if the container was filled to the top. These storage boxes are awesome - we use them to store my kids lego pieces and they are big enough to hold loads of different pieces! The kids fit on perfectly and they are air tight too - great for food storage, although they are a little on the larger side. Overall I’m quite happy with these storage containers. They are larger than I expected (the product description was not accurately depicted). The images I have included with this review show one holding a full 5-lb unopened bag of flour and another with an entire box of cereal that I could easily add a 2nd box to. The seal does appear to be pretty airtight, and it is easy to open. However, I did feel that the covers were particular, and did have to juggle to find the cover that fit each container best. The quality of these is mediocre to good, simply because the sides of the container do feel that they are on the flimsy side. For my purposes, these are perfect for storing items like dry cereal, flour, sugar, coffee, etc. Would recommend. ... show more
