I haven’t put it up. I took it out the box and I’m disappointed on the gold color. It’s definitely not as pictured. The color is dull. Borderline silver with a little gold. If you’re wanting a true gold color, this is not it. I will probably have to spray paint it to match my fixtures.

This was a mistake on my part. I needed to replace my bedroom ceiling light (which I actually liked and still like—maybe I can paint the fabric around it?) The info cautioned that you can look up and see the horizontal bulbs, but I went ahead and got it when I should have picked a light with a diffuser. I think they are available. It has taken so long for the electrician to install it, that it’s too late for a return. I have removed 3 of the 4 bulbs, which helps. However in this 11-foot square room, the light gives the feeling of an airport runway. May I create my own diffuser? Anyone know? ... show more
