Got this for Christmas. Had two missing pieces but my kids barely noticed. Great idea but lots of assembly for a 3 year old to do. Needed a lot of guidance. I like the option of the drill vs screw driver. Overall, good.

I thought that these little cars were a super fun activity to do with my little boy. He is only 3 years old and he got a real kick out of using the "Real" power screwdriver to assemble the firetrucks. I would simply place the pieces together then have him screw in the bolt or screw and we had a blast building these 4 trucks together. They are easily assembled and disassembled so that you can build the trucks over and over again. We did not get the remote control version of this, but I think these simple toys are quite enjoyable. Says 3+. Not for 3 year olds. Or, probably, four year olds. Tiny pieces, interchangeable but not equivalent parts, two sizes of screws…were I to buy this again, I’d try it out myself a bunch before letting my kid see, then give him 1 vehicle to disassemble. With a designated container.

This is not a toy for 3 year olds. If your 3 year old can build this, you might be raising a super villain. It's not a bad toy, it's just not for toddlers. It has an overwhelming amount of small parts. If your 3 year old can build these trucks, please respond with what you feed them. My son is smart but this toy is for savants. Now that we have exhausted all pieces I am updating my review to mention that it is missing pieces including the base for the crane as well as a wheel. ... show more
