  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS UNIT
Color: Red
I purchased the Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Stroll 'N Trike .. for my Granddaughter for Christmas. It was fairly easy to put together. She is 1 years old and she absolutely loves this stroller/trike. It really will fit all stages. The only complaint I have is it seems to be a bit different in the steering of the unit, but over all that just took us time to get to use too. I LOVE this product. It was the cheapest I could find anywhere online and in stores. A great dependable unit to transport your little ones in.... fun all around. Not disappointed one bit. I give it a 5 Star as my review. ***** * 1 star (Nope, DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!): I would either return or throw away this product. It was a waste of my money and not functional. I will never order again. ** 2 star (Think twice before buying - don't like it): I'm not a fan of this item and I won't order it again, but it has at least one positive quality. *** 3 star (It’s ok): This item has both positive and negative qualities. It may work for some people, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase or recommend it. **** 4 star (I like it): This item arrived and functions as advertised. I would change a few things about this (including pricing), but is a good product overall. I would use this item. ***** 5 star (I love it!): This item is AWESOME. I will use it and recommend it to others! I just LOVE it! It works as advertised and is an all-around great product. All of my reviews are written with the hope of helping other Amazon customers make the right buying decisions for themselves. To help increase awareness of a particular product it might be positive or negative, but in the end it is honest. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it has helped you. I will be happy to answer any questions if that might help you make your decision. Have a great day. ... show more

  • Love this little bike
Color: Red
My 1 yr old loves this little bike. It was super easy to build, and it will last us many years. I love how there are different stages so it grows with your baby. The foot rest for the beginning stages is a little awkward though. The height my son is at, he can almost reach the ground without the foot rest, but he's not quite ready to have his feet on the pedals. His legs are a little too long for the foot rest though. He slides off the seat a little, too, but he stays safe with the safety bar and seatbelt. We still manage to enjoy the bike though! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Get it early, and they will be able to enjoy every stage. ... show more

  • A great tricycle....with one unfortunate flaw!
Color: Red
This is probably our 6th Radio Flyer product, purchased in September for our 3rd son. Always a positive 5-star experience...until this one. The Good: the tricycle itself is exactly what you expect. Very well made. The 'clutch' system for pedal/non-pedal modes is easy enough that even my mechanically-challenged wife can do it, once you get the hang of it. I do wonder if it will wear out if you engage/disengage frequently. The great: assembly was super quick, faster than the one I remember putting together over a decade ago for our oldest son. All the fundamentals you want in a trike are here. Seems like it is well made. One feature I love (see picture) is the clip at the bottom of the trike when you push the steering column through. It clips on/off very easily. The unfortunate: Go up the steering column assembly, and that's unfortunately where we go from a a great feature....to a significant design flaw. The steering column has an adjusting grey mechanism that screws tight when you get the right length. Unfortunately, it comes lose all the time if any resistance is met while pushing. I imagine for toddlers up to age 2 (where your child is lighter weight), this screwing adjustable mount works fine. But with our 3 year old on it. if any amount of force is directly directly down the shaft, it will eventually give out and collapse. Seems to me the easiest solution would be to get rid of the grey mount (see picture) and use an adjustable shaft like you see on crutches, with the little notch detents that allow you to adjust it a few inches each direction. Seems like that could be implemented for very minor cost, and it would works so much better. My work around was to build a thick duct tape block (see picture) that prevents it from slipping. Works ok for now. Conclusion: All of the above leads me to think this item is best suited for 1-2 year olds...and then with the option to have them pedal at 3. Unfortunately, we bought this device when our son was almost 3...so we didn't even get to test a lot of the features for the younger toddlers. That probably relates to the shaft issue discussed above, as it probably wouldn't be as big of a problem when pushing an 18 month old on there. But with a 3 year old's weight...you get the idea. ... show more
