Hey this was a life saver and was affordable. We installed a window unit and saw it was with a standard plug but one with only one prong vertical and other horizontal. We went to the store my husband saw and outlet that had one horizontal snagged the face and box for it and when we installed the new outlet and he grabbed to plug to plug that AC in we realized the horizontal prong was on the opposite side 🤦🏻♀️ lol all that work and now the store is closed…no AC tonight. Well he did our homework this time and found this adapter and got it shipped next day. Used it until we could get our electrician out to dedicate a sole breaker for it to have the right outlet. Biggest draw back is it has a tendency to fall out of the wall since the cord dangles too far off the wall. This may only happen in my particular case of needing this product.
