When my package arrived, it had been crushed in transit which did damage the drive. However the Customer Service was very responsive and expediated a new drive. Kudos to them for that. This is a nice plug and play gaming option for the money. As long as you have a decent PC, you should be able to play almost all of the games. The PS4 are really the PC versions and the PS3 emulator is a bit slow to load but that's normal. If you have an average PC or laptop, PS2 may be your top end. My hard drive is a HGST HD manufactured in Sept 2013. I did a virus scan and found nothing but I would always suggest you do that as a best practice. Emulators I tested: Wii, Wii U, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, N64, SNES, Game Cube, and Switch. A lot of the Wii games require a nunchuck controller so know that going in. A couple of the Switch games are laggy but that's the emulation, not the HD. Would have been nice to have the original Xbox included. Pros: A good value for the hard drive and case Nice selection of games from many different systems You have the ability to add or remove games if you know how. Nice to have AAA games included. I couldn't find any duplicates other than similar titles on different console platforms. (UPDATE: MAME does have quite a few duplications usually different region versions of the same game. Those don't take a lot of space and you can always delete the ones not needed) The case is decent and comes with a power supply and USB3 cable. Cons: Most likely it will be shipped from China so it might take a while to receive. A few games are set up in Chinese as the default language so you would have to change that. Hard drive is not SDD so you may want to back it up. Games are spread across RetroBat, Launchbox, and Playnite which can be confusing for novices. ... show more

The drive has a good game selection. They all work. ( you might need to change the drive's letter designation ). The down side is 79 virus's. 4 in total in multiple place's. Be careful with this stuff. What more can I say? Game on.

Update: I felt the need to update my previous review due to the excellent customer service displayed by the company. They went out of their way to accommodate the situation and fix the problems. They were helpful, kind, and generous with multiple options that would allow me to enjoy the game drive with piece of mind. The below situation may very well be a fluke, I think you can buy with confidence... They clearly stand by their product. This was received before anticipated ETA. But that is as far as the positives go. This contained multiple viruses (hack software, malware, trojans, etc..)... I cant recommend this and it is advised that you avoid or scan this product thoroughly before use. This is very disappointing. ... show more
