Relatively easy to get on my hens. I like the adjustable straps and the material itself it quite sturdy. Little difficult to wash but overall it has done its job holding up to my Roo's spring hormones

I was gifted a rooster and 3 hens that had been in a rough situation ( previous owner was having medical difficulties and could not keep). The poor hens had been in a flock of 12 hens and 6+ roosters. They had been overbred to the point they were bald on the back. Despite Elvis ( the rooster) being quiet the gentleman with his ladies their feathers were really having a hard time coming back. I feel like these saddles helped protect the tender skin until some feathers came in. The girls were not happy at first about the saddles, stopping laying 2-3 days but quickly got use to them.
