  • Good fit and solid noise reduction
I think other reviewers might be missing the fact that these are indeed adjustable, the bit where the headband connects to the ear pieces on both sides will slide up and down if needed. These fit well and dampen sound well enough for my purposes (garage power tools - table saw, router table, miter saw, shopvac, etc.). My only gripe is that if you were planning on wearing wireless ear buds underneath these (like air pods or similar) the fit is pretty tight. I have Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 ear buds and while they do fit underneath if I turn the buds so that they are completely perpendicular to the ground, they are not very comfortable in there. Can only tolerate it in small bursts like if I'm making a quick cut or two. Otherwise I pull them out first. ... show more

  • Excellent Noise Reduction, But A Bit Tight
For many years I had been using sponge type inserts directly into my ears which was causing ear-wax impaction on my ear drums. I decided to try one of the muffling head sets. Based on customer reviews, this is the one I selected. I have no regrets so far. I can finally mow my lawn and barely hear the engine noise. They are a bit tight as I understand many of these types are. I discovered that I can not put the head set over my eyeglass ear frame arms because it squeezes them against my head which causes more pressure discomfort. Fortunately, I can still see well enough to mow the lawn. Bottom line--they do exactly what they are supposed to do. ... show more

  • Awesome!
I own a HotRod shop and do a ton of fabrication and these are the best pair I have used so far. Very comfy and quiet.

  • Good noise reduction
They cancel noise but not as much as I was reading in one review when someone said that the full silence came when you wearer them. They cancel noise but not completely eliminate it. Helped me a lot with my very noisy vacuum cleaner. But they press your head so cannot be wearer for a long time.

  • Fits a little tight, but small size muffles enough office noise
Muffles enough noise in the open office to do the job without looking ridiculous in the bigger ones. Fits a little tight, need a break after an hour and a half or so. I store them wrapped on a tissue box in attempt to adjust them wider over time while not in use. For $40, I couldn’t be happier. Big help when coworkers are on the phone and you just need to zone in! Wish they were all black instead of emergency green, but what can ya do. ... show more

  • 27 Decibel Ones Work Really Well but.....
I really like these, the color, the fact that they have plastic over the metal. They do fit me a little too tightly (around my ears I am really sensitive and don't like pressure around my ears). I had lots of trouble with my ears growing up and I'm just funny about them. In the past years, I've become sensitive to sound. We have 5 dogs. My male dog has a very large piercing bark (he is 110 pounds and barrel-chested). I finally had enough. One dog will bark and it will set him off, as he is a flock guardian dog... anyway, I researched and decided to try these. I ordered the 27 decibel greenish and black ones. They do a well enough job but don't muffle out enough of his barking. They take it down a notch....I would say, it takes the higher register sounds down a lot but his bark is still a strong force. It does make it more bearable, not just a shot to my eardrums like before. I think next time around, I would get ones that block even more sound, but I will keep these. They seem durable and don't look bad while you're wearing them. ... show more

  • Best noise canceling headphones
Excellent noise canceling headphones. We have been having work done on our home and between the hammering, sawing and my dogs barking, these have helped keep me sane! Excellent!

  • Comfortable, works pretty good, affordable
Tried them for the first time at a shooting range in Las Vegas. Liked them so much I bought a pair on Amazon. They work great and are comfortable.
