  • Amazing product - Worth every penny.
Size: 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft)
Ok a little backstory first... I have a 8th gen Honda Civic. And for those that are familiar with them, that's probably all I have to say. But for everyone else who doesn't know, these cars are notorious for the clear coat failing on the roof. After years of thinking that I dodged that bullet it finally started to fail on my car too. So since I could not afford to repaint my car I figured a vinyl roof wrap would be the next best thing. And long story short this stuff is amazing. For someone who has never done anything like this before, and with no more training than watching a couple of YouTube videos on the subject I actually managed to end up with a very passible final product. This vinyl ended up being very forgiving to work with which definitely saved me as I absolutely screwed up my first couple of attempts to install it. However at the end of the day after much sweating and cursing it actually turned out great. I'm sure a professional could have done it in a fraction of the time and it would have come out absolutely perfect, but for my needs I couldn't be happier with the final product. I would not hesitate to buy this vinyl again for future projects. It is by far a superior product and worth every penny. ***Update*** Roughly three years later and the vinyl on the roof of my car was starting to show some wear. Then I recently made the mistake of trying to wax it, which almost immediately made it look drastically worse. Still even going into this I knew it I knew the vinyl was a temporary solution, so I find it hard to complain. Also for what it's worth I also wrapped the chrome grill on my car shortly after I did the roof, and that part is still looking perfect. So even though I have heard that you can apply wax to the vinyl, apparently it might damage it or at least leave a nasty looking residue. ... show more

  • Easiest to apply but at a cost
Size: 5ft x 10ft (50 Sq/ft)
Tips after solo installation: - Invest in good tools it wont be the last thing you wrap - A quality blow dryer can suffice for heat gun with 1080 because it's thin. I still used a heat gun, but tested both - HEAT BEFORE WRAPPING CORNERS, watch for tension points and lay wrap to avoid excess tension - Post-heat after application to make sure it's not going to finger and relax in place - CK Wraps on YT is an incredibly valuable resource to watch I was able to wrap my roof and my front grille without any issues with my first order of 5x10feet. I did this alone and all I can say is invest in the tools. I used some cheapo kit and didn't use knifeless tape the first time. Using good tools will make this job 100% more enjoyable and a better outcome. I re-purchased more wrap to re-do the roof now that I have knifeless tape. My car doesn't have drip sills in the roof to hide the wrap seam, so the cut has to be absolutely perfect. The first time I free handed it. Needless to say I'm no surgeon so I'll re-do. ... show more

  • Good material, color needs improvement.
Size: 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft)
Easy to work with. Repositionable. Fairly thin. My only issue is that it's not "very black". Could have been "blacker".

  • Great for an appliance facelift, too
Size: 5ft x 10ft (50 Sq/ft)
I am in the process of renovating my kitchen, and decided that black or mostly black appliances would look better. However, I didn't want to replace perfectly good appliances, including my large french-door style refigerator that is less than 2 years old. I did some investigating to determine the best method, for me, to incorporate the changes I wanted. My stove is already white with a lot of black on it (the ceramic cook top and the oven door) so I decided to purchase a vinyl wrap to cover the sides and parts of the front of my refrigerator, and most of the front of my dishwasher (whichi is not metal, so couldn't use a magnetic cover). I ordered this glossy vinyl, and am VERY happy with the result. It is easy to apply and reposition. And, when I struggled with the panel I cut for the front of the freezer drawer, with a good amount of air bubbles, I was pleasantly surprised that simply using a dish rag to aggressively rub the bubbled areas caused them all to disappear without any smudging. I was also happy that the original texure of the sides of the refridgerator came through after applying the vinyl, and zero issues with magnets continuing to stick to it. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product, ease of use, finish and end result I was able to achieve in just about 90 minutes (including measuring and cutting each piece) ... show more

  • Must read review for buyers!
Size: 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft)
While I am leaving 4 stars, I want to begin by saying that this is a great product! I know that's odd considering the rating, but here are a few reasons why. I would give 5 stars to the packaging, the shipping, and the adhesive on the back of this vinyl. What I give 4 stars is the quality of the vinyl. Granted, this made my '14 Ford Fusion look sweet on top, if you are very picky like I am, the vinyl has very many imperfections. You can't really tell until it is wrapped like on the roof of a vehicle, but it has small lines as if it were once folded, and it doesn't have a "new shiny look" but rather a "stained" black look. ** That being said, it is just when you're up close and examining the vinyl. I am a car fanatic so I like my vehicle to look very clean all the time, when far away this product is sweet! But when up close, be weary for the imperfections. Ill attach photos after I update the review when it has been in the sun and weather for a while. ... show more
