  • Amazing product - Worth every penny.
Size: 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft)
Ok a little backstory first... I have a 8th gen Honda Civic. And for those that are familiar with them, that's probably all I have to say. But for everyone else who doesn't know, these cars are notorious for the clear coat failing on the roof. After years of thinking that I dodged that bullet it finally started to fail on my car too. So since I could not afford to repaint my car I figured a vinyl roof wrap would be the next best thing. And long story short this stuff is amazing. For someone who has never done anything like this before, and with no more training than watching a couple of YouTube videos on the subject I actually managed to end up with a very passible final product. This vinyl ended up being very forgiving to work with which definitely saved me as I absolutely screwed up my first couple of attempts to install it. However at the end of the day after much sweating and cursing it actually turned out great. I'm sure a professional could have done it in a fraction of the time and it would have come out absolutely perfect, but for my needs I couldn't be happier with the final product. I would not hesitate to buy this vinyl again for future projects. It is by far a superior product and worth every penny. ***Update*** Roughly three years later and the vinyl on the roof of my car was starting to show some wear. Then I recently made the mistake of trying to wax it, which almost immediately made it look drastically worse. Still even going into this I knew it I knew the vinyl was a temporary solution, so I find it hard to complain. Also for what it's worth I also wrapped the chrome grill on my car shortly after I did the roof, and that part is still looking perfect. So even though I have heard that you can apply wax to the vinyl, apparently it might damage it or at least leave a nasty looking residue. ... show more

  • Good quality
Size: 5ft x 3ft (15 Sq/ft)
I’m a newbie when it comes to wrap. I bought the gloss black 3m wrap. I wrapped a motorcycle fairing and I was impressed with the quality of the wrap after unsticking it many times due to mistakes by me. It was a good buy

  • Forgiving with creases
Size: 5ft x 5ft (25 Sq/ft
Very easy to use especially if you have some experience. Looks good overall, material finish has slight orange peel up close. But that’s just 3m wrap Cons: the tape that holds the roll together rips off the clear protective film on the wrap when you take the tape off. They just need rubber bands on the rolls Had slight creases from being bent but came out with some heat. Would recommend ... show more

  • It’s good quality but some flaws
Size: 5ft x 5ft (25 Sq/ft
Scratches really easy, don’t touch it or grip it with your finger nails and or hit something sharp. I like the quality but it’s delicate.

  • Great for an appliance facelift, too
Size: 5ft x 10ft (50 Sq/ft)
I am in the process of renovating my kitchen, and decided that black or mostly black appliances would look better. However, I didn't want to replace perfectly good appliances, including my large french-door style refigerator that is less than 2 years old. I did some investigating to determine the best method, for me, to incorporate the changes I wanted. My stove is already white with a lot of black on it (the ceramic cook top and the oven door) so I decided to purchase a vinyl wrap to cover the sides and parts of the front of my refrigerator, and most of the front of my dishwasher (whichi is not metal, so couldn't use a magnetic cover). I ordered this glossy vinyl, and am VERY happy with the result. It is easy to apply and reposition. And, when I struggled with the panel I cut for the front of the freezer drawer, with a good amount of air bubbles, I was pleasantly surprised that simply using a dish rag to aggressively rub the bubbled areas caused them all to disappear without any smudging. I was also happy that the original texure of the sides of the refridgerator came through after applying the vinyl, and zero issues with magnets continuing to stick to it. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product, ease of use, finish and end result I was able to achieve in just about 90 minutes (including measuring and cutting each piece) ... show more

  • 3M 2080 <defective quality>
Size: 5ft x 10ft (50 Sq/ft)
I purchased this roll of 3M gloss black (5x10). I was intending to wrap my targa top and halo on my C4. As this was my first time wrapping I figured the smaller targa top would be best to start with as it comes off the car, and before messing with the halo. As I began to unroll the material I noticed these “satin” spots almost like subdued camouflage. I figured this was just some moisture between the plastic and the topside of the wrap, remember this is my first time. I cut my piece and removed the upper plastic, spots were still there. I continued thinking they would soon leave. I wrapped the roof piece and the spots remained. Looking at my roll, the other half doesn’t have these spots, so in theory I could re-wrap the targa top, however I can’t wrap the halo piece as half would have spots and the other half wouldn’t. As I put it on the car thinking it would go away, I guess it’s on me to eat the cost. I would’ve thought springing for the 3M 2080 product line you wouldn’t have these inconsistencies. My recommendation to anyone that is thinking of doing a wrap, unroll the entire length to check the quality. Do not continue if there is an issue, and return it. Expensive mistake on my part. I tried to contact seller but Amazon wanted to deal with it and have me return the roll. Wasn’t sure how to go about that as I took out a 3X4 piece. I could wad it up in the box i suppose since this wrap roll is worthless. If you have a roll without imperfections, it is really good stuff to work with. Even being a beginner, it wasn’t difficult…just time consuming as you pull and stick a lot. I know my wrapping skills aren’t perfect, but I could see using this if it wasn’t inconsistent in color. ... show more

  • Matches GM black
Size: 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft)
I wrapped the hood of my wife’s 2014 GMC Yukon Denali because the paint was faded terribly. It has great adhesive backing and was very easy to work. No bubbles looks perfect.
