Size: 5ft x 1ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Black
It’s a nice gloss black 👍 feels like it’ll hold up for a while on the road.

  • Perfect color match on my MazdaSpeed3
Size: 5ft x 2ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Hot Rod Red
First off, I have a 2008.5 MazdaSpeed3 in "True Red" and this vinyl is a perfect match. This was my first attempt to do any sort of vinyl wrap. I think I may have chosen smaller parts to do to minimize the investment, but those smaller parts had a lot more curves, sides and testing shape than something like a hood. However, doing those parts were great to learn and practice. I will probably go back and do them again, but the cost of the vinyl definitely makes it affordable to try, fail, and try, try again. Beware of videos online as there are a few different types of tack with different brands of vinyl. It was a fun skill to try to learn, and this vinyl was great for me to start the learning process. One other suggestion for people starting, spend the $15 on a set of vinyl tools as they are worth their weight in gold. ... show more

  • Absolutely Stunning Look and Finish
Size: 5ft x 20ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Blue Fire
I can't recommend this enough!!! The wrap came out incredibly beautiful on my car. I purchased 3M Gloss Blue Fire, and I was going for a color similar to Bayside Blue, from Nissan's famous R34 GTR. I have never seen one in real life, so I don't know if it is comparable at all, but i've fallen in love with the color. It has a very bright light blue shine in the daytime that the pictures don't show very well, and it turns to a much darker blue during the night when the highlights and reflections are not as visible. It has a great reflection that is comparable to a high quality paint job on a brand new car, and sparkles a lot. As for the actual wrapping process, you definitely have to consider whether you want to wrap this yourself or not. The car in the photos is a 2012 Honda Accord, a Midsize Sedan, and this was my first time wrapping ANYTHING. Overall, it took approximately 30 hours doing it by myself in my driveway. Originally I purchased a 5ft x 12 ft roll, because I read somewhere that the car required about 60 ft of wrap. Obviously they meant a 60 ft roll, not 60 square feet, so I ended up spending way more than I originally thought. You definitely have to value your time with this, while it is fun I'm not sure I would want to do this all again. It took me about 3 weekends to finish everything. The 30 Hours of wrapping do not include disassembling the car and prepping / cleaning. The material is extremely forgiving, you can push it quite a bit before it starts becoming damaged and losing its adhesive. The air release technology is a life saver, it slowly lets go of any air that gets trapped in the wrap. I had a couple of incidents where after having wrapped an entire section of the car, I found a spot that I did not fully squeegee and left air bubbles. For comparison, I finished wrapping the hood about a month before I wrapped the rest of the car, and 2 months later there are still air bubbles there from my amateur wrap. I don't think my money was wasted on this purchase. For those considering wrapping their cars, I highly recommend getting something from 3M. It's not worth cheaping out on something as major as the car's color, especially when you're going to be wearing it for the next 2-3 years. In total, this cost me about $1000, + $25 for the squeegee / blades / magnets. ... show more

  • Not a bad product
Size: 5ft x 1ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Black
So I was doing this to repair chips on my fender flare on the bed of my pickup. I had cut out a template, and then trimmed the vinyl to match. I then laid it out to make sure it was the right size. When I was going to apply it, it took a very VERY long time. If you want a smooth surface on the vinyl and you are working with something that has any curve, be prepared to struggle with this. It does not apply so easily like the little instruction card. I would NEVER attempt to use this on a whole car, it would look like crap because you CANNOT and I mean, CANNOT get a wrinkle or little bubble free surface. Don't get me wrong, it still looked good, but since I am so AR any little bubble was a failure to me. And heating it up after, does not smooth it out, and DO NOT try to heat it while applying, it gets super thin and then sticks to itself very easily, it get about as thin as plastic wrap if you try to heat it while applying. But, for my purposes, it did a good job, the pitted paint is hidden, and the lines on the vinyl will be blackened by my polish (there is a slight white line from where you cut the vinyl, and it is very clear on a black truck) Pros: High Gloss finish looks good, parts that were flat are flawless Cons: Hard to work with if you are not on flat, top layer of clear plastic does not stay on and then causes issues with application, NOT POSSIBLE to do a wrinkle free bubble free installation on any curved surface (unless you are a professional I suppose) Limited Ikea like instructions. ... show more

  • Easy!
Size: 5ft x 4ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss White
Never wrapped anything before but my hood was grey and I didn't want to pay for paint. Super easy to learn although I can't imaging wrapping anything other than a hood. I kept the clear plastic layer on until I had most of the hood totally done and in place. Which is good because after a few adjustments at the front edge with a hair dryer it tore much easier than with the clear layer on. Luckily I was able to stretch it a little more to get the tear on the bottom side. The paint underneath was in really good shape but there are a few dings that obviously show through. A few little (nickel or smaller) bubbles were left in various spots after a couple hours but when I pressed them with my finger they disappeared. My only complaint is that the white is so white that it really highlights how faded the rest of the car is haha. ... show more

  • Good to work with but..
Size: 5ft x 5ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Black
This wrap is easy to work with and even though I'm a beginner I achieved an almost professional result. Air removal was easy. My biggest complaint is that the black looks like it has orange peel. It's ok from 6 feet away but upon closer look it just doesn't look nice.

  • High quality vinyl
Size: 5ft x 1ft W/ Application Card Color: Gloss Wicked
I've bought several rolls of 3M 2080 and it is sturdy and works like a charm. I've done a few decals for the Jeep which I cut with a Cricut and there were no problems. You have to make sure to take the protective plastic off of the top on some of the different rolls before cutting though. It has great adhesion once you've pressed it down but it's easy to lift off while placing. It has a good stretch when warmed and so far after a few months there's been no fading. I can't wait to wrap some more Jeep parts. ... show more
