  • High Temps very Quickly
Style: 24V 60W
This is a good quality heat cartridge, and the perfect upgrade for an ender3 v2 using an E3D V6. I'm getting great temperatures very quickly with no hassle or fuss. Haven't tested the limits just yet, but expecting to break the limits on the ender 3.

  • EXTREMELY HOT!
Style: 24V 60W
I got this as an upgrade to the heater on my modded out Ender 3. I wanted something to install on a Haldis Red Lizard 3 that could keep up with Klipper and nylon. This delivered. I haven't fiddled with it much when printing nylon (I mostly print PLA+), but it heats up insanely fast and will maintain within 0.5C while printing at 130mm/s+ with no problem provided you have its PID tuned correctly. Highly recommend but make sure you tune PID after install and make sure your printer has all overtemp safeties and shutoffs enabled. This is absolutely a fire hazard if improperly installed and configured; if left unchecked to runaway it can get hot enough to melt the aluminum hot end no problem. ... show more

  • Works as expected!
Style: 24V 60W
Drop in replacement and heats up very quickly. Long enough cable for an ender 3. Would recommend.

  • Heats up quickly
Style: 24V 60W
The heater element, if 60W, will load your controller with roughly 2.5 Amps @ 24V. Most modern controller boards can easily handle this current / load. Didn't really measure the time it takes to heat to selected temperature on my older element and this one. But it seems to accelerate slightly the time to heat. It will get you a higher temperature on the nozzle, as supposed to a 40 W element. There are heater blocks made of copper instead of aluminum. They will cause a different heating response curve, so it is a good idea to run a PID calibration. In any case a PID tune is a good idea, with changes to your hot-end. ... show more

  • So far, so awesome!
Style: 12V 60W
Bought this to replace a "Genuine E3D" 40w heater that broke after 2 months (I have had an E3d hot end since 2015 and replaced all the parts a couple times over) After some : M303 T0 S270 because this heater heats up TOO QUICK to set it as close to the top (295, due to the typical type of thermocouple in the hot end) - but I just finished a 45 hour print with this heater, printing PETG and it came out B-E-A-UTIFUL! Attached photo is of hotend warm up from my Duet Wifi printer controller ***update*** Now that I have printed a couple 50+ hour prints of ABS+ at 260c, I am just going to order a couple more of these heaters because they seem to be pretty legit. Just make sure you have a stout power supply! I have been bitten MANY times by trying to save a few $$ on 3d printer parts from Amazon, but this one (lets be real, its a resister, in a tube, filled with some kind of high temp cement/epoxy) works better than E3D heaters (with better quality!) ... and considering an E3D heater is 3x the price with 0 warranty that they honor, this heater is an incredible deal! ... show more

  • Does the job
Style: 24V 60W
Used it in a micro Swiss clone on my Ender 3. It reaches temp quickly & regulates with less than 1 degree +/- variation using an NTC3950 thermister after PID tuning with Marlin 2.X.

  • Works well
Style: 24V 60W
Not much to say. It works how you expect. Came with a long lead in case you do a home-run style setup. I have no complaints.

  • Fabulous Heater Cartridge!
Style: 24V 60W
Works perfectly on my Ender 3 Pro, gets to temperature (260C for ABS) in about 60 seconds after PID tuning. I would recommend that if you are considering it you may look into getting a Mosfet controller as I had problems with my upgraded Silent Mainboard setup. It worked perfectly for a while, but I kept getting thermal runaway shutdowns mid-print, after changing the thermistor twice and still getting the same error, I checked the voltage on the heater cartridge, and it would only get to about 13 volts (should be 24). Open circuit it was at 24V, but as soon as the heater was inline it would dip. So I grabbed a Mosfet controller off of my Anet A6, plumbed it in, and it works wonderful getting juice direct from the Meanwell PSU! ... show more
