The media could not be loaded. ** Update ** The handle gave out. It’s a useless product for me now, unless I grab each handle shaft independently. Not sure if you can get just the top handle piece? Maybe I can rig something up? The rest of it works fine, but the handle doesn’t handle stress, at all. Kind of like me. **original review** I work at Mt St Helens in the cascades of the Pacific Northwest. We deal with a lot of snow. I bought this to hopefully cut down on the number of shovel throws each winter. It does well. Until it doesn’t. The top “U” part of the handle broke at the corners on both sides. Part of this could be user error. But I feel like it’s something easily preventable with a little extra piece or two of metal bracing things. I dunno, I guess I’m just disappointed that it didn’t hold up very long. Also, the little screws down by the wheels came out at some point while using it… I used a drywall sheath and a screw to hold it in place. ... show more

    • Gets the job done
My son and husband were a little skeptical after it was put together (it was a little loose) but this shovel does a great job removing snow. It takes much less time than a typical shovel.

I don't do a lot of product reviews. Only if a product is very good or very bad. Where do I start? Plastic blade is flimsy and light. My guess is it would last one season. Handles are flimsy and unstable. My one positive is that they are long, if you are tall, you don't have to bend over. This shovel is good for one inch of snow tops. The angled blade forces you to use it in only one direction. Good for one half my driveway. Biggest negative; This thing is so flimsy, if you hit any ice or a crack in a sidewalk, this thing folds over on itself. I tripped and almost fell over it 3 times in a single use. I consider this shovel a real safety issue. As a safety coordinator, I would ban this from any corporate site. If I could give it zero stars I would. Considering it cost near 100 bucks, I am amazed. If I paid 20 dollars I would feel ripped off. I have no beef with this company or Amazon, but shame on you for offering this. ... show more

Directions for assembly are very hard to see. Have your magnifier ready! Once I was able to see the assembly particulars it went together very well. The snow we first used it on was about 5" of crusted over frozen snow (Not exactly ideal) but it worked once we crushed through it. It should work well on new snow on our large steep driveway. The fact we won't have to do much lifting makes it well worth it. The 38" width won't work on our sidewalk. So regular shoveling will have to be done there. ... show more
