  • Tablets, not too large, good strength of Mg
I was excited to try this Mg glycinate as I take this form of magnesium regularly. I like that it is produced in the USA and that it clearly calls out all of the allergens which are not in the product. The tablet size is fine. I don't think I'd have any trouble taking it. I was not able to try this product, as the interior seal arrived opened. It may have simply been that the seal was too large and got caught in the lid, but I was not going to take any chances whatsoever. The product otherwise smelled and looked just fine & uniform. Giving 4 stars because I cannot evaluate how it is to take these tablets. ... show more

  • Either mislabeled or WAY expensive
The label indicates that 1 tablet provides 200 mg of Magnesium Glycinate. While that may be true, this form of magnesium supplement is about 14.1% elemental magnesium, the rest is the large chelated glycinate molecule. That means that each tablet provides a paltry 28 mg of elemental magnesium. I'm a big believer in magnesium supplementation. It's been estimated that 85% of Americans are deficient in the mineral. Magnesium is involved with over 300 biochemical reactions and is crucial to energy production, protein synthesis, and insulin metabolism. More importantly, it aids in Vitamin D3 absorption, and not so surprisingly, about 80-85% of Americans are also deficient in Vitamin D3. The National Academy of Sciences recommends a daily dietary magnesium intake of 80 mg to 420 mg per day depending on several factors. If you exercise regularly (and sweat) or are pregnant or lactating, they recommend being at the higher end of that range. I like Magnesium Glycinate as the source of magnesium in a supplement. Compared to other forms of magnesium, it is much easier on the digestive tract and does not have a laxative effect. In order to get just 200 mg of elemental magnesium from this product, you would need to take about 7 tablets per day, which makes the cost per day much higher than it needs to be. Compared to my normal magnesium glycinate supplement, this one is about 9X more costly per mg of elemental magnesium. I'm also a little dismayed that they do not label the product in terms of mg of elemental magnesium per tablet. I think it somewhat deceptive to label it as mg of magnesium glycinate, which is only 14.1% elemental magnesium. BOTTOM LINE: The product is questionably labeled and way overpriced. Use the search button on AMAZON to find a magnesium glycinate supplement that tells you how much elemental magnesium you are getting and then compare the cost to other similarly labeled products. You can do much better than this one. ... show more

  • Not ultra-high potency, but good enough for daily use. Great deal for 120 day supply.
While I'll admit that this is not the highest potency Magnesium Glycinate I've come across, I think it's an effective daily dosage, and certain an excellent value at this price. You will receive 120 Magnesium Glycinate tablets in this bottle. I mention that they're tablets, not capsules simply because that may be a deal-breaker for some folks. I have no issue with tablets, personally. These tablets are rated at 200mg per daily dosage, and that should be fine for most people. If you feel that it's low you can always take a double dosage (safely), giving 400mg per day, and making this a 60 day supply, rather than 120. Still a great deal. Your body needs Magnesium (a mineral) to function properly, and the chelated forms (Glycinate, Citrate, Malate, et al) provide the best quality, and results. Magnesium is important to support bone, muscle, and joint health, and also supports digestive & brain function. It can help you sleep, and also relax. On the whole I consider this bottle of 120 tablets a good value, and I would recommend it. ... show more

  • My preferred type of magnesium
This 365 Health Magnesium Glycinate 200mg, there are 120 in the bottle and this is the type of magnesium supplement that I prefer to take as it doesn't cause stomach issues for me. These are tablets, I prefer capsules but these are easy to swallow. The bottle only has an inner safety seal, no outer seal. They have an expiration date of 9/26, received 1/24. ... show more
