I got this cooktop for my husband to set up in our garage. He likes BBQing and cooking outdoors so I thought this would complete his outdoor/garage cooking area. I also got it to use in case we have an ice storm like this past winter and lose our electricity again. This will allow us to be able do some cooking and heat up water. It is very sturdy and well made. I like the stainless steel top and cast iron burners. I also like the automatic electric pulse ignition. That will be nice. No need for matches or a lighter unless we are without electricity. We're going to use it with propane so my husband has to get all the fittings and connections he needs for it but we are excited to give it a try.     • Nice small cooktop
I connected mine to residential natural gas. Flame is strong on high, and remains stable on low, which is nice. The hookup process is not my favorite. The stove connection uses a rubber washer and ribbed fitting, rather than US tapered pipe thread. This made connecting to the regulator a bit of a project. I eventually took the whole top to the hardware store to find a connection I was satisfied would never ever leak. ... show more

Nice quality little stove. Advertised for RV use but has some quirky features that make it easier to setup in a cabin or small home and as a mobile unit for countertop cooking. The stove comes ready for natural gas use rather than propane and to use it for propane I first had to swap out the installed orifices and flip a part in the regulator. Interestingly, the igniter must be plugged into an AC socket there is no option for DC or batteries. I was able to use a lighter when the stove was unplugged. Another thing that makes it easy to use in a home as well as in an RV is that the stove has four stubby legs that work well to support the stove on a countertop. As I plan to use the stove with propane when traveling, I swapped the included hose connector, (that can only be used in European countries) and installed a 1/2" to 3/8" elbow. (see photo). The mods worked great and I can now use the the stove with propane on our patio or in a cabin when traveling. Bottom Line: Great little stove and burns plenty hot. Useful for small apartment, cabin, patio and for an RV with some mods. Works great, looks good, heavy cast iron grate, easy to clean. . ... show more

    • Impressive 2-Burner Cooktop!
I recently acquired this 2-burner cooktop for my garage, primarily for outdoor cooking and as a backup during power outages. It's a solid, well-made unit with stainless steel top and cast iron burners. The automatic electric pulse ignition is a handy feature. However, the connection process for propane was a bit tricky due to non-standard fittings. The flame control is good, and it can be used as a standalone on a tabletop with a propane bottle. Though it's functional, it seems somewhat cheaply made and better suited for occasional use rather than heavy-duty cooking. I have been looking at these types of cooktops, and I could never figure out if they had to be installed into something or could be used stand-alone. Turns out you can just sit this on a table top and run by hooking up a bottle of propane without any type of power - just use a standard butane lighter to start the burners. You can also install into a countertop if you like - the edges allow you to sit it flush with the countertop while the legs just sort of hang underneath out of sight. Lights easily, and burns evenly. The stainless steel finish does pick up fingerprints a little though, but wipe clean without too much trouble. ... show more

I love gas stove but my stove is electric so I got this little cooktop and put it on top of my electric stove after covering it and use it with a propane tank. It works well and now I have my gas stove. It’s so easy to use. It can be used indoor or outdoor.

I know it is advertised for an rv but I have used this 2 burner propane cooktop for my husbands fish station on our dock. he has a small outdoor kitchen space there and the burner has completed our setup. It is easy to install with the included items. He cut a counter top so that he could place the burner flush with the counter and has a nice space to cook at. He does light it manually because he hasnt yet run electricity to the station but will soon. We give this a 5 star rating. ... show more
