This powder, bottle it come in and glue don’t work well together. The powder is a thick pasty consistency, the bottles are too small and too flat instead of tall so it will be easier to dip the finger in. The powder don’t adhere to the glue in places at times so it will comes out spotty and you’ll have to dip twice. If it still don’t come out right you’ll have to remove and do it over. If you don’t want to start over you can put glue on the spots that aren’t covered correctly then dip again which can leave a non-smooth nail which you’ll have to buff out to smooth. I bought this to try it out. The process is challenging and tedious but I like it due to the drying time. I’ll research and find better powder & glue. I guess when I get the hang of it the process will become easier and less time to apply. In my opinion it’s quicker to prepare all nails before starting to make the process go faster. If you’re a beginner and don’t want to spend a lot of money to try it out this is for you, just make sure you have a buffer to buff them after applying the activator. The photo is showing the very first time I tried the powder process. I only gave three stars due to the pasty powder and flat jars the powder came in. Edit: After a full week my nails are still looking great! I like the powder method. $9 was worth the money. I purchased some tall craft cups to dip my fingers in the power. I also purchased more powder and glue but trying the glitter kind next. I like the powder method a lot! ... show more

I really wanted to like this set. What sold me at first was the color variety. It covers a variety of seasons and has a good mix of pastel, neutral, glitter, neon, and monochrome. SO I THOUGHT! When I got the first box, it wasn’t sealed (red flag). When I opened the box, you don’t get any of the colors advertised. It was all neon, like a box of Crayola. Don’t get me wrong, that isn’t a bad thing, but again, that’s not what I ordered. I was excited to use the black glitter, but it wasn’t there. I marked which colors were not in the set, and it’s more than half. So I contacted Amazon. They gave me a refund, and I disposed of the box since it wasn’t sealed and I was unsure if the product was safe. It looked used when I opened it, and parts were missing. Thinking it was maybe a fluke, I ordered the same set again. It can’t happen twice, right? Well, turns out I was wrong. I got another unsealed box with loose powder everywhere and parts missing. The colors were STILL wrong. Look, powders look different once you put them on, but when noticeable colors are obviously missing, that’s a different story. So back to Amazon again to return and dispose of yet another used and wrong color powder set. Moral of the story: I don’t suggest this brand. While it has the potential to be a great product, there is something going on in the warehouse. It’s possible SKUs are mixed up, which is why this is happening, and boxes are not being properly sealed. If they fix it, I would consider getting their stuff, but after two bad orders, time wasted, and product waste, I wouldn’t suggest their products. I ended up getting a different brand altogether and paid more for fewer powders, so I’m hoping the quality control with this next brand works out. While talking with Amazon, I asked that this get looked into since having two bad orders in a row like this sounds like a warehouse-related matter.
