Bought this thinking what a great thing to add a sink in my garage. Ran water new electrical because it shorted the GFI on the 20 amp circuit when I connected it. It’s been more then 30 days to do this and it will not heat past warm at best and I can’t return or replace. The media could not be loaded. Since we bought this house we have had an issue with getting hot water in the kitchen. Our water heater is on the opposite side of the house so you have to leave the water running for like 5 minutes before it gets warm. That is just wasteful so we’ve been rinsing dishes in cold water. After we installed this tabkless heater the water is hot immediately! I only wish we had got this sooner as the value is tremendous to keep things clean while not being wasteful. It isn't quite as easy as I thought. I believe that this heater is NOT intended for your whole house; it's for a sink or smaller use. So that means you need to have a power source under your sink or in the intended mounting location. If you do, fantastic. Then you face the second problem, which is that the inlet and outlet size of the heater is larger than my standard under-sink plumbing line. So I need an adapter (two, actually). And then there's the question of where/how to hang it; it's pretty heavy, and I'm not sure I can anchor it without a really long screw. So plan ahead, especially those of you who, like me, are not seasoned DIYers. All of these issues can be overcome, but I haven't done so yet so can't even comment on the endless supply of hot water that I dream of! ... show more

We own a small food truck and recently had the water heater go out. It was a small 5 gallon tank and it took up a lot of space. I was contemplating replacing it with a tankless but they were price prohibitive. There are zero instructions but it's fairly intuitive as there only two connections (Water in and Water out). Make sure water is flowing through the unit before plugging in. Also make sure you have dedicated circuit (at least 30amp). There's a remote to adjust temp but if you have access to the unit the same controls are identical on the tankless heater. I opted not use the remote. I connected it up. Fired it up and it provided adequate hot water for our food truck. The water temp is not scalding hot but provides hot enough water that will pass a health inspection. The build quality is extremely cheap. I was afraid to tighten down the fittings on this because they felt like they were going to break off. When I did manage to get everything tight enough to not leak... I plugged the water heater in and it gave some random error with no documentation on what it meant and it didn't produce any hot water. It also seemed to restrict the water flow quite a bit as well. Save your time and your money and look elsewhere.... ... show more
