MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH POWER. Thankfully I had a place I could get enough power to in order to use it, but this is not what I expected from an instantly hot water heater as these are describes. You have to nurse it up for full flow in order to have hot water... basically it needs to heat up just like a tank would need. Once this goes out I will likely just go back to a smaller tank for the kitchen sink where I added it. ... show more

Totally agree with the other consumer who stated, "total junk". Even with the water flow at the very minimum (just enough to make the unit turn on), it still wouldn't heat the water above 39*C. I'm hoping, for the companies sake, I just received a defective unit; but, sadly, I don't think that's the case. ... show more

    • Antuony Tankless 5,000 watt water heater

The water heater is nice and compact. This particular model is rated for 240 volts and requires a 30 amp circuit. It comes with a bare ended cable with no plug pre-installed as one would likely expect. I intend to install this in a bathroom either for the sink or if it works well, directly at the shower. Only time will tell how well this heater works as I will be installing a 240 volt outlet especially for this water heater. In the event it doesn’t work as expected, I will certainly come back right here and report any short-comings. I’m not too worried about installing a receptacle and the unit not working because I will simply replace it with a slightly larger heater with a 4 or 5 gallon tank if I need to. Still, I think it’s worth trying this compact, truly tankless heater first. I will recommend it for now, as it does seem to be well made and solid. Rest assured that if this review still stands after July of 2024, then the water heater is decent. If it is a complete waste of money or doesn’t perform as promised, I’ll reflect that right here in this very review. ... show more

This electric water heater works well, it provides instant hot water and couldn't be easier to install. I would have preferred a little higher capacity but it's an excellent option for the price. We use it in the bathroom of our cabin where it's not convenient to havea water heater.
