So together between my fiancé and I, we weigh damn near or about 450 pounds and then my daughter sleeps with us she’s 30 pounds. We all fit up in this B!!! And it’s sturdy, we are high up because we had to put the box spring up but we don’t care too much about that. It’s sturdy it after 2 months creaks then tiniest little bit but this is like the first frame we’ve had in a while the ones we bought with the bed which were low and supposed to be heavy duty broke right in the middle and were a bust. I do wish however that there were more support pillars for reinforcement because I don’t think this frame will last forever but we will see. Update 8/20/20 hey y’all. It squeaks now but probably due to the fact we throw our bodies all over it. Still holding up tho! ... show more

The frame is a couple of inches wider and longer then the mattress so I'm kinda prone to bump my knees in to.. and the whole bed I guess might have a 3000lbs weight rating but I was was setting in the middle the end of the bed and my wife was playing around and sat on my lap , the frame rail bent and cracked.. I had to go to the hard ware store. And make a support strut .. I'm 300lbs and my wife 200lbs is why we bought a heavy duty frame , so not as strong as I hoped.. ... show more

    • Description Says "No Noise". You Are Kidding Me !!

The description on this item says "no noise". That's further from the truth than Donald Trump saying Coronavirus will just "disappear". We wanted a sturdy bed frame. What we got was chattering cross rails that jingle every time you make the slightest move. I weigh 169 pounds. My spouse weighs 158 pounds. We are not overloading this bed rated for 3000 pounds. However, every time we move, it sounds like Santa coming at Christmas. The only thing we are missing is "Ho, Ho, Ho". We are both Lawyers and Nurse Practitioners. We just can't be woken up every time we roll in bed with the cross rails moving in their welded brackets. This is a very sturdy platform bed frame!. It is much more solid than anything I have bought from Zinnus by about 2 times.. It is very well engineered with an extra roll study legs and a set of cross bars that give extra support . There is a 1 inch depression that you set your bed in, That keeps your bed from moving much or at all. The full size has 2 sections of 14 inch height clearance and 35 inches long between the legs, the frame 56 inches wide. Most storage bins are under 14 inches in height. I am taking half a star because the tool that you have use to tighten the nuts is hard to get a grip on. I had to turn it with the tips of my fingers which hurt and fell out of my hands many times. The directions that come in the box are vague, use directions on the product web site. I would get someone to help you put it together it is hard to do it alone I am glad that I have found much more heavy duty bed frame than anything Zinnus and the many the knock offs of Zinnus have to offer for only about $20 more!. ... show more

Very strong, even with my huge galumphing son on it. I assembled solo in under 30 mins as was a matter of clicking straight most outer frame parts then 12 bolts. A lot of the rest is just push-click. Very well thought out where it is designed to be as simple as possible. legs have plastic end inserts to protect floors. This is the 5th frame I have bought him in 7 years and is by far the best. It arrived promptly and without delay or issues. great value. Although it has no drawers for storage per se under it there is a clear 10-12 inch gap underneath it which is perfect for storage tubs, or as a nesting place for our 9 cats ... show more

I’m giving a mixed review for this bed frame: Pros: 1) Very sturdy. Once we got the thing assembled properly, my son-in-law stood on one single slat at a time and there was no flex. I have no doubt that it would hold the 3000 lbs as advertised. 2) It sits fairly high and it was easy to slide underbed storage boxes under it. 3) No need for a box spring – we put a 10 inch mattress on top and it supports well, we can’t feel the slats at all. 4) It’s very quiet, with no squeaks, creaks or rattles 5) It was surprisingly easy to attach a headboard to the frame. The holes matched right up and they were not made for each other 6) The seller is quick to respond to inquiries 7) The price was excellent Cons: 1) There was absolutely NO HARDWARE with this frame – to be fair, when I emailed the seller, they offered to ups a kit to us. But we had already removed the old bed and couldn’t wait….so it was an additional $19 at the hardware store for bolts, nuts and washers. 2) The instructions were a just a single page picture - an exploded view of the frame piece. That’s all. Putting it together took 2 people about 3 hours. And this was 2 people who put together an entire studio of ikea furniture in a weekend – certainly not inexperienced. There are places on the frame where bolts only go half way in, till the adjacent bolts are attached and then tightened, etc. Lots of repeat steps and frustration – my assemblers were not very happy. 3) The bottom corners of the frame are sharp – definitely a shin scraper if you’re not careful. I will be adding some sort of padding there, for sure. So I gave it 3 stars, for being a good product at a good price. If the seller would be sure to include hardware and decent instructions, I would’ve given 5 stars. ... show more
