This is the replacement sink for one that had a big dent in the left sink. For the price of this sink, I wasn't going to install one with a dent. It stood out in the side like a sour thumb. This sink perfectly matched my new appliance suite. I purchased a kitchenaid black stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range and microwave. I was concerned about purchasing a sink through the internet that I couldn't see in person. Was it going to match my other appliances? Was it going to look cheap? I paid thousands and thousands of dollars for the appliance suite, along with custom kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and new Italian tile flooring. Needless to say, this would have gone back if it didn't match the look. Well, I need not worry. I was so impressed with how it came shipped! It was bagged into an olefin type bag, wrapped with styrofoam sides, and then sided with plywood for extra protection...all in a well made cardboard box. I was already impressed, and couldn't wait to see what the sink looked like. No disappointment there. The stainless steel is thicker than any other farmhouse sink than I saw in any of the show rooms that I visited. Plus, there is ample rubber around the sink to add as a sound damper. Oh, and the color...spot on!!! It was a perfect match to my black stainless steel appliances. I would HIGHLY recommend this sink!! ... show more

I remodeled my kitchen after 28 years and wanted a farmhouse sink. Took 3 contractors to find one that said it wouldn't be a problem to make the adjustments needed to my current cabinet. This sink looks beautiful. I needed a 9" depth to fit in my cabinet and this worked great. It was packaged extremely well. You do need a minimum 36" cabinet, just so you're aware, I initially assumed the 36" sink was for the 36" cabinet but I actually needed this 33" inch sink. I would purchase again. ... show more

This sink gets four stars instead of five because the 'installation instruction" if that's what you call it, was absolutely awful. it was a drawing with two different scenarios and the drawing looked the same for both. worse, the installation clips, were nothing more than a few pieces of hardware with no picture or description of how they expected them to be used. there's no hold down rail on the sides of the sink so the whole thing was a mystery. luckily I found a video on YouTube that helped a lot. had to build a support under the sink, which wasn't expected. anyway....its in and it looks good but it was a day long struggle. ... show more
