UMIAcoustics makes some of my favorite acoustic panels, we're using these for finishing our home theatre and working on keeping the sound where we want it as well as directionality accurate. The UMIAcoustics panels helps to make this possible and while we still have some more sound proofing to do (you know, trying to not get the sound to resonate through the HVAC system), their panels have helped us really limit down the noise factor as we continue to thrive to get the fully movie theater experience.     • Thin but MIGHTY
I wasn't sure how ell these would work since they were thinner than what I am used to, but I was wrong, these thin yet might panels are dense enough to compete with ones I have that are much thicker, so this ultimately saves a bit of space when your talking about sticking away from the wall. They do what I need them to do and keep the sound in the room I'm in, no echo and no sound seeping in or out that I do not want. Excellent buy! ... show more

Pretty decent acoustic panel. Lines are uniform without any flaws. I found the material to be a little on the thin side to be considered “Art” acoustic panels. I found myself thinking they really would make great backing panels to fluted wood if you were wanting to make your own - though you can find those already premade here as well. Regardless, these would be pretty effective at cutting reflections in a home theater and will be using them in conjunction with similar fluted panels (with wood) to help improve sound quality in my theatre. ... show more

    • Easy treatment for ceiling reflections
I got these to deal with ceiling reflections in my home theater. The floors and walls of my room are already pretty good without treatment (thick carpet, lots of decor and soft cushy furniture breaking up the flat walls, thick curtains on one side, thick blanket tapestry on the other, etc.). Before these however my ceiling was totally bare. I measured and marked the first reflection points for the front LCR speakers to the main listening positions. I was able to treat all of those points with just two of these panels. I simply hung them with wire nails (17 gauge 1.25"). 3 down the middle slot, 4 for the corners. They feel very secure with just the nails and I don't have to worry about it damaging the ceiling paint/drywall finish if I need to move them. They look really nice too although my ceiling was already painted flat black to begin with. ... show more

    • They cut down on reverb in the room
I was excited for these panels to arrive and once they did, the product was even better than I had anticipated. The reverb dampening quality of the panels far surpass the moving blankets I was using three months ago. The material is durable but lightweight, perfect for my use as I do not currently do all my recording in just one location. This is a great product for the price and I will definitely be ordering more as I start to build a larger recording studio! ... show more

I recently acquired the 3 Pack Art Acoustic Panels for my DIY vocal booth, and I must say they exceeded my expectations. The 47.24” x 23.62” dimensions were perfect for my space, though I wish they were at least 2 inches thick. Despite that, these panels are exceptional, providing effective sound absorption. Prior to obtaining this item, I had already covered a road-noise facing wall in my room with their smaller panels to great effect. These larger panels do the same job but in a more elegant way. Highly recommended. Super easy install.
