The instructions are just a few steps, all pictures, and about halfway through you don't even need them anymore. If you have your own tools, use them. I did not feel like going out into the cold to get mine, but the provided wrenches worked well enough. The frame appears flimsy until fully assembled, then seems plenty sturdy enough.
